The fact the first thing Iskall does in a video after such a long break is think of Stress is adorable

Just hearing iskall saying “Hallo!” brings me such a happy feeling and his energy is infectious through the screen

I love the questing system to introduce the player to the modpack! A suggestion about it: Add a "completed quests" tab on the UI, listing the quests we have completed. Sometimes its a lot of information and the player needs to track back, per example: "how can i increase soul shard drops again? Oh... that quest said something-something dagger or a modifier but i don't quite remember" Overall i really like how the pack has developed and i loved playing during the alpha VH I had a break to focus on my studies and i can't wait to get together with my friends and play VH with them! Keep up with the good work Iskall and VH team!

Iskall, please try to play to max level this playthrough! I would love to see all the endgame items!

The pack seems so much more refined since I last watched. I especially appreciate that there are so many different ways of healing now in the early game.

The 55 minute was heavily appreciated watched every second through glad to see the return and im definitely here for these longer episodes, its what made twitch great getting to see you play for a lot longer

I think a cool idea for vaults would be a certain type of challenge or a setting whereas instead of the vault immediately unaliving you when you run out of time, it'll make the vault harder depending on how long you stay in the vault for. For example, if you stay in the vault for extra time, it'll start spawning powerful mobs randomly or it could give you negative modifiers like frail. Just a random thought I had. Like you can stay in the vault, sure, but it'll make it a lot harder depending on how much longer you stay in the vault. Like you could have it so like if you're in the vault for an extra minute (-1:00), higher leveled mobs will start spawning. At five minutes (-5:00), you'll start getting negative modifiers every thirty seconds or so. So at -5:30, you could get something like crowded or unlucky. And at ten minutes overtime (-10:00) you'll start taking damage out of nowhere and the amount of damage you take increases every fifteen seconds. So it could start at 2 HP every second and then go up an extra two every fifteen seconds. Just a random thought and it's unlikely anyone will see this, but I'm just pitching my idea out there.

The shaders definitely enhance the visuals in a way that is minimal, yet impactful. I think you should keep them. Also, glad to have you back

The updates you’ve showcased in this video might actually convince me to give this pack another try. You’ve fixed so many of the issues I initially had with the pack. It’s awesome to see your team constantly learn and improve VH! It’s looking amazing.

I adore complementary shaders and I'm happy to see them used here. I think you've done a great balance with the settings, I'll probably use them myself!

The shader balance is perfect or the series if you ask me! Also, glad to have you back in the saddle and take care to not burn out again as it's very easy to do!

So excited for this series, and i love the shaders you are using, still makes it feel like Minecraft just with a little hint of gentleness to it.

You should try the Complementary Reimagined shader, as that one is designed to look more like vanilla than the normal Complementary shader, and the clouds are awesome!

I normally hate shaders but these are cozy like you said and make it look nice! I'm also super happy to the changes that have been made and I'm going to go try this pack now after your video. One of the things stopping me before was that there were to many non fizzle spawners. I also love the changes to enchanting and healing.

The early quest system is exactly what I was missing in my first experience with Vault Hunters, and seeing you play through it here has re-energized me for jumping back into the server I'm on. Thank you and your team once again, and I look forward to exploring alongside you.

The quest system at the start is soooo good! I was always a bit intimidated starting VH by myself, but now it seems a lot more new player friendly!

the questing system is such a great addition! ive been wanting to try out the modpack, but every time ive watched some videos/tuned into some streams, ive just been a bit overwhelmed by it all. Can not wait to watch more of your singleplayer world and also cant wait to try and play some vh myself with the new (and much needed) handholding thanks to the quests :D

I've been looking forward to a return to Vault Hunters for a loooooong time. Glad to have you back, Iskall!

“This is the best start to any type of play through” continues to be blown up within the next 10 seconds hahaha, looks fun though looking forward to trying out the pack!

for the last day or two i've been toying around in the very beginning of Vault Hunters for the first time, and was really struggling. then this video comes out a few hours ago, and you mention update 9, so i check my version, and i'm playing on update 8. there seems to be a LOT of changes made in this new update that look like they'll make my onboarding process MUCH smoother, so i'm really excited to get back in and try again! as someone who only ever really played vanilla on a server with friends, and only back in the early days of the game, and has never even beaten the vanilla game in a single player setting, i've been trying desperately to find a modpack that can draw me in enough to actually keep a world for longer than a few hours.

I've been lurking on vodskall and definitely been excited for the coming restart. Thanks for all you do!
