I love Halloween, I'm so overwhelmed with life this year, I'm finding it hard to get the motivation to decorate, I think it's the thoughts of cleaning the house before I put up the decor. But I feel guilty for my kids that I'm finding it hard to find the time for it. To me it's not a simple task, I over think it so much. So thank you for giving me a spark of motivation. ☺️

great job on your decorations. i'm loving the ghosts and the bats to hold up your taper candles, light them first and let wax drip into the hole on the ghost candelabra. then stick the taper in the hot wax. (if you don't want to light the candle, use a clear tea light for the same purpose) happy halloween

Looks awesome Megan I have the same black trees and I've put the tiny pumpkins hanging from them I just added string to and made a loop I also hung bats and spiders as I had small items to make a different spooky tree

Put the wicker basket at the side of your entry way table and put the fake dead tree on top or at the side. Try blu-tac on the bottom of your tapered candles to keep them upright in your ghost candle holder 😊

If you want to keep your ghost candle holder clean, no mealtime of wax, use a tiny bit of foil. This will also line the holder when you do light the tapers. That was my grandmas trick. ❤

Hey love! Love your channel! You can DIY your own ghost houses for your spooky village using goodwill Christmas houses or dollar tree ones. Even the DT doll houses can work! Let’s see what you can do!!

So cute I love it all!!! My mom always used little pieces of paper towels to hold in candles that didn't fit. Is an alternative if you didn't want to fix them in there permanently.

Hey Megan! I’m not a big Halloween person, even as a kid. But, your decorations are so well done. The only thing I would recommend is if you could get some little crows and bats, and hang them from some of your trees.

So much fun! A lot of people melt some of the candle wax to hold their candle sticks in place. Also a dab of glue from a hot glue gun would do the same. 👻

The price tags, Omg take them off. Lol drives me crazy. My daughter buys the dishes and things with sticky tags on the bottom and don’t take them off, drives me crazy. Loving the family/ playroom.

I really love how you guys decorated the inside and outside your home! for your living room love the entry way with the bats in the wall and i say if you have any lights maybe you guys could hang them up by the window sill if not I love how you did it and the kitchen I love the skulls by the oven and the lamp too it gets dark at night by us too. and loveee the playroom love how Derek incorporates his drawing/art skills for the girls super cute 🥰 hope they have w great time at there party also 😊💜

Lights in the windows would be so cool! We’ll have to look for some at the end of the season when things go on sale. Those bats are so cool & such a cheap DIY decoration!

I just don’t always think about it. I get so in the zone with trying to film a cohesive video that will make sense editing & viewing, so I just forget about the tedious tasks like cutting tags.
