I like the way you save paint by using it out of the container instead of pouring it out onto paper. Love your work, so different.

When "crafting" totally transforms something the way you did with the raven cage, I think it moves beyond "crafting" and dips all of its toes straight into "art". I'm an artist by avocation (sculpture and photography) and have shown in many galleries. I make part of my living from my art. And I'd say what you did is equal or greater to any mixed media artist out there. I look at the original pieces from Dollar Tree as nothing more than armatures that you then transformed into your own works of art. That makes you an artist, not simply a crafter. Crafting is simply doing something clever with everyday tools and items you can find or obtain cheaply. Art is when you create something so transformative and so unique that not everyone out there with a hot glue gun and some chalk paint could use the tools and materials you used and come up with the same result. If anyone could do it by following the same steps as you, it's crafting. When it requires talent, ingenuity and creative genius, and no one else but you could ever do it the same way, it's art. In my opinion.

I like your bird cage wall art better than Ashland from Michaels... Yours looks like a crow to, their bird looks like a dove and your moon is brighter... I Love the whole thing... Great work, keep it up...

I am gobsmacked at your execution of the crow in a cage piece ... just ... wow .... No one would ever think that was created from Dollar Tree items, and I can usually spot Dollar Tree DIYs a mile away (mostly because I make so many myself) ... I am blown away ... Phenomenal job, just phenomenal!

I just wanted to pop back in and let you know that I did the lantern wall sconce project at 11:38 and it turned out SO well! I made two, and put one on either side of a vintage-looking gold mirror that I've decorated for Halloween. It looks amazing -- you'd never believe it was a Dollar Tree craft! I'm going to take pictures and tag you on Instagram. I made the haunted house last year and I think I put it on IG as well. Thank you so much for your great, quality tutorials!

I bought some transfers to try on frames and other decor- using a pencil so there are more little flakes to use elsewhere?! Wow.. I am totally going to try that on a few. That was beautiful with the gold!! Alright I’m going to try not to have a lot of comments. This video is excellent!

You gave us so many options for all the skeleton hands. I’m not much of a crafter but interesting that I could remove the cups from the hands! I had initially felt like dollar tree was limiting me on skeleton items but you proved me wrong!! I’m in the medical field and anatomy & physiology was my favorite subject- I can’t get enough skeleton/bone decor 😁
