First stumbled upon this channel from the Burlington ghost, this is a treasure trove of a channel, also once one person decorates it becomes socially acceptable to follow this leader.

I appreciate the realness of the decorating process. Most people decorate in warm cozy clothes, perfect hair and makeup and that is not experience at all. I'm usually in shorts, a sports bra, a messy ponytail and covered in sweat and dust from moving everything.

Just found your channel, love it! Just a little tip or hack, I use “museum putty or mounting putty” to keep things in place. It’s reusable, so no waste and keeps everything from falling. I’ve seen at the dollar store, but you can usually find it anywhere. Doesn’t ruin your walls or furniture. I also use dollar store candle holders (spray paint them black) to vary the sizes of my spooky trees. I LOVE how everything turned out, you’re so creative! Glad I found ya!

I'm doing that cute spooky and traditional black white and orange. My kids are just realizing what halloween is and they are at the most fun age to do all the Halloween things with. I can't wait!

For all those wobbly things I swear by Quake Hold museum putty. Say the uneven bottom on your Burlington ghost- put a ball or two under the low spot push your ghost down on display surface and give it a little twist. It won’t hold anything on the wall but I do put it behind wall/decor that refuses to stay level. I’ve used it outside too. Even used a ball behind a tall/skinny IKEA book/display case to keep it from rattling the little items when I walked by it. Not for paper or cloth though.

Our theme-everything but the kitchen sink. lol. Okay, it's more like spooky nooks in our small home. The kitchen is where I put all my more vintage/retro bright orange traditional Halloween decor. It's all black cats, ghosts & jack-o-lanterns. Our coffee bar is going the Victorian/Edgar Allen Poe route with pieces themed from his short stories. Our entry/tv room is Sleepy Hollow/Harry Potter so far(still working on it). Our bedroom is Wiseacres themed from HP already year round, but I am putting some spooky bits in there for the first time this year, no real theme. Loved how the display over the tv especially turned out. The bats to the side was a brilliant touch to tie the area together & give the moon something to look at.

🦉I love the branchy trees Target had this year because they had NO GLITTER. I picked up four of them, you have the same ones and I love how you incorporated them into your graveyard scene. The moon you made really pulled it all together.

Love all that you did! I recognize a lot of your ghosts, as ones that I used to have, then remembered that every year I give some of my Halloween decor to my Grandkids, for their rooms, etc. and, to my kids, as they got their own homes. I’m so glad that they love Halloween as much as I do! Hope I can find the moon face, I want to make him for my porch! You are enjoyable to watch!

Thank you for the idea with redoing cheap plastic skulls with baking soda & paint. I've done this on pumpkins and didn't think of it with the skulls. My boyfriend & I both love that stacked skulls/French catacombs look. We found a couple small displays at Jo's but had issues with each(one too small, the other he disliked the candle wax on it). Your way we can make it how we want!
