“Czar” is an old Russian word meaning king or emperor (Jack is the Halloween czar because he rules over Halloween). :)

Not working .. all updated. Got Jack's letter got it all. Isabella didn't give that announcement like on this video! I see many are also experiencing same by comments ... Pumped to be totally devastated. What is going on??!! . 5:00 p.m. everybody should be in costumes and the event should be rocking. Isabella does say today is Halloween on the opening statements but doesn't say what is on this video so I don't know what the heck's going on... anybody knows please post it!

it wasn’t working for me at first either i think it had something to do with me time travelling previous so i’d technically already completed that day however i time travelled back to the 30th then forward to the 31st at a time i didn’t play the game on that day (was 8:30 for me) then i got the announcement

maybe try seeing If your actual Nintendo device in systems need to be updated? I did that and it worked but ik a lot of people are still having this issue

Yo I was so bummed. My first halloween on the island, had a bunch of festive items, candy, and a costume and no event. :(

@@hanban6532 I had to keep restarting my console and jumping in and out of my game and change the time until it started working. Not sure why it wasn't working this year

The turnip pig (forgot her name) is on my island and I think there’s only one special character allowed on the island at a time, it isn’t working for me, either.

Where did you get this info? Why spread it as fact? You can buy candy at the shop or get it from villagers.

So, i had 0 candy left and someone gave me facepaint. I removed the paint in the inv. And in a mirror but it still shows. Fix?
