With a new year, brings new speculation for this year's Halloween Horror Nights! We're talking all about some of the speculated properties that are rumored for HHN33
While there have been many rumors flying around already, we stuck with properties that we believe have a good chance at making an appearance this year.
In following videos we'll be diving more into the speculation surrounding logistics and locations, the permit codes for the houses, and more!

Bloody Mary, I hope universal can strike a deal with the copyright holders to let her back in for the event. as a house, scarezone or even just a walkaround character. the idea of her twisting stories into something spooky and grim is a good one and I'm a huge literature lover too. maybe a house based on urban legends like the hookman and the bunny man and so on, or another house based on fairy tales and nursery rhymes. those ones are my favorites

Love the new icon on the channel. Someone had mentioned Japanese Horror which is awesome either The Ring or The Grudge. The sound from The Grudge is scary in itself. AAAAAAAAAA😱😱😱😱

Great video as always! Another note for FNaF: this year is the 10th anniversary of the franchise, and it has been stated publicly that they are heavily pursuing collaborative projects this year to capitalize on this. I’m confident that HHN, Cabana Bay, DbD, the new game, and LOTS of live merch are part of this effort. I also anticipate there might be more Oddfellow lore stating something like “Oddfellow’s soul collection efforts using astral magic is feeding the creation of Celestial Park”, thus inevitably tying HHN lore into the new park for HHN 34 As for other IP properties? I’m hearing Crystal Lake as a possibility, but given the current legal nightmare with that franchise I take that with a grain of salt

FNAF does have a huge support to it with speculation for this year. Would be surprised if it doesn’t happen. Also, not sure if Universal wants to get Epic involved with HHN just yet. Would be an IP nightmare with tie ins.

Having Ghostbusters, FNAF, and even possibly Beetlejuice in the same HHN would be absolutely insane! Would be one of the biggest IP lineups we’ve seen in quite a while. Great vid!

One thing I find interesting is these all have anniversaries. Creature FTBL, 70th. Gremlins, 40th, FNAF, 10th, Ghostbusters 40th, Nightmare on Elm Street, 40th, etc. Beetlejuice is the only outlier with its 35. That’s so weird to me!

Here's what I think. Netflix: Wednesday or Fear Street Blumhouse: Five nights at Freddy's Universal Monsters: Creature from the Black Lagoon Wildcards: The Strangers, Gremlins, Terrifier, Ghostbusters.

Super excited yet I went in September thinking it would be less packed yet I guess everybody listened to you guys and it was more packed compared to October. Thinking maybe November. DO you think it will be the same as last year?

Truthfully with crowds, we can’t be too certain. Honestly we were surprised with how packed September was last year compared to October. This is something we will make a video on down the road but after last year, we would recommend going later in the run for the better weather at least.

I’d LOVE an evil dead house. I’d prefer the original but if they were to do Evil Dead I definitely see them going for Rise because it’s new and fresh. I’d be thrilled with either one honestly

Here's my thought on Creature from the Black Lagoon... maybe.. MAYBE it only goes to HHN Hollywood. I dont think Creature is as big of an independent icon as let's say Dracula or Wolf Man so giving a house exclusive to HHN Hollywood makes sense so that HHN Orlando can give the fifth IP to another BIG property to be featured at the event... *cough GREMLINS. Your thoughts?

We love to see Gremlins at the event and have it in the back pocket for this season. Still waiting to see more positive signs for that. However, in our opinion, we believe creature does have a big following from fans to want to see it, especially the creatives. We know Murdy has talked about it, but Orlando is usually a little more ahead due to a bigger production and budget. Guess we will have to wait and see!

HHN will usually run between the months of September and October, with days limited and ranging usually from Wednesday through Sunday!

I’m going to Universal and Islands of adventure on 9/3 & 9/4 I really hope HHN will be happening on those days and I’d love if ghostbusters was one of the houses or scares I am a huge GB fan.

We will say this: More than likely, there will be no HHN on the 3rd. However, there is a possible chance for it to occur on the night of the 4th! Really hoping for Ghostbusters to make a return!

@@BrianFromOrlando That’s what I’m hoping on 9/4 because I noticed they didn’t have it on Mondays and Tuesdays last year if I recall they had it Wednesday through the weekend if I’m not mistaken.

Yes they did! It all depends on opening weekend. If it’s the weekend prior, then you should be good. However, if it’s set in that week of September, then you may run into an issue. All depends on the announcements!

Every property mentioned sounds promising. FNAF is a given for sure, and the others mentioned sound likely, except for maybe Nightmare on Elm Street. I would love it but it seems like the most out of left field idea compared to the others

There isn’t really a set time on when tickets go on sale. It all depends on their announcements for the event. Usually I would say to keep up your guard around late March. By June, they will 100% be up!

Not related to speculation, but if you had to choose five video game properties besides FNAF you'd choose to make into houses, what would they be? I'd personally go with Outlast, Dead Space, Resident Evil (specifically 7,) BioShock, and Alan Wake.

Honestly the choices you presented are around the same ballpark as us! We would have to deep dive into more video game properties since there are so many. Maybe even an anthology style like Dead by Daylight.

If you don’t mind us asking, what is your role with HHN? We do know that Universal doesn’t own the rights to Freddy. Same situation with Beetlejuice. It would have to undergo a contract in order for that property to appear at the event just like the case with other houses.

Really don’t want any celebrity Haunted houses, wasn’t a fan of “The Weekend” house, and think Universal needs to stick to Horror properties, would love to see some 80s classics and definitely a FNAF!

We are honestly okay with them doing houses like that as long as they are fitting for that year and dove deep into the horror aspect. But there are plenty of properties to choose from that are better!

I don't know why you'd consider A Nightmare on Elm Street as the "weakest" of the 5 IP's mentioned in this video. Freddy Krugger is SCARY, HHN 17's "Dream Walkers" House would like a word with you on the matter lol. In my opinion, "Ghostbusters" or "Beetlejuice" would be the weaker IP's.

Nightmare on Elm Street is considered the “weakest” as in its possibilities of becoming a house for this year’s event. The other houses are “stronger” in terms of its chances.
