Walk around one of three scare zones at HHN Hollywood in 2023: El Terror de las Momias! This scare zone was located at the exit of Monstruos: Monsters of Latin America and continued the Latin American influenced theming by taking inspiration from the Mummy movies of Mexican cinema in the 1950’s. Two monsters of fictional film franchises (The Mummy and The Skeleton Queen) combine in the story of this area and include a number of undead Aztec warriors as well!
Bright lights, fog and the immediate transition from haunted house to scare zone upon exiting all made this one of my favorite areas at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood. I only wish it was a larger area!
