The other day my husband was talking about how he wants to go cruising (as in a cruise ship) someday. The first thing that popped in my mind and out of my mouth was, "CRUISIN' to JOANNNN!" He has no idea what I'm talking about and only knows this channel as "that lady with the skeleton" but he just rolls with my weird outbursts at this point. 🤣🎃

im so ready for fall too. for alot of ppl that feel like fall/winter depresses them but for me its opposite. summer is so hot and depressing for me while fall i feel like i thrive and connect with nature and enjoy the breeze and just feel so happy

It's just too hot and miserable to function during summer. I LIVE for autumn. The breeze and the overcast skies and the cozy sweaters and boots. I just want to stay inside and bake bread and make soup lol or go for a breezy walk with apple cider 🍁🍂

like 2 days ago i went to michaels with my siblings and as i was BASKING in the halloween goodness at the front, i heard 3 different groups of people come in and complain about it "it's july" "halloween already?" 🎃 Fun video Jade. I thoroughly enjoyed this shopping trip(s). We are barely scraping by here in PA. Tough times since COVID began and a bit before to be honest. I picked up my first Halloween decor yesterday at Cracker Barrel. There was a salt and pepper shaker that was a WITCH, FLYING ON A BROOM! 😂. It was only $7.99 and so cute!

The fake wasp nest really works, they won't invade other wasp nesting area if the nest is big. Had my brother get one and it took care of them fast, however you move it each year because they know that it is last years nest and they don't use the same nest in places that have winter. I was as bad as you are; I was stung badly when I was young and they were always chasing after me plus my mother is allergic. Then some time ago I hypnotized myself (through watching a hypnotist on TV ) and it really worked! Now I'm not afraid and they don't pay attention to me at all. I also watched a bunch of documentaries on them and learned how great they are at killing mosquitoes etc. Just a suggestion. It really was ruining my summers. I'd sweat all over, hyperventilate, start running and crying every time I heard one. People laughed and I just stayed inside. God forbid if one got in the house. Got rid of my fear of spiders too.

Hey! I'm not sure if someone else mentioned it but you don't have to buy a fake wasp nest. Put some grocery bags or something inside a brown paper bag to give it some shape and hang that up. It keeps wood bees away from deck areas too. 😉

I am so ready for fall and Halloween. Ever since moving to east Texas (where I can’t go outside at any time of day for like six months of the year), I have gotten waaaaaaay more into Halloween. It gives me something to look forward to and focus on a time when I can actually go for a walk outside at night. But I just love everything about the fall 🎃 so much fun and nostalgia too

To a fellow Libra and "Halloween Freak " (and proudly so!) Thanks for all you do braving the nasty. Midwest weather in the heat of Summer, to bring us news of all the Spooktackular Halloween goodies coming our way! Last year's Halloween wasn't the best for me. Instead of enjoying my Spooky weekend I was sicker than a dog and wound up being hospitalized for nearly an entire month because of a severe infection. Looking forward to a much better Halloween this year watching old reruns of the old "Dark Shadows" t.v. series. (Even my Grandfather on my Mom's side loved that show!) So sorry for the loss of your little fur baby Bailey. I have lost more than one of my fur babies over the years, and it doesn't get much easier. 💔 The only thing that comforts me is that I know they are waiting for me up in heaven. I have dreamed about them from time to time and I know that's just them checking in with me and letting me know that they are fine on the other side waiting for me . I would love to see your haunted house collection. Haunted houses are one of my favorite things about Halloween. I loved how you read everyone's note with such love and camaraderie.

Man, that card from Ann made me teary eyed. I moved from PA to NC at a young age and that love for fall and Halloween really does run deep! I try so hard to recreate that feeling each year, but it's hard to understand if you haven't lived it. Here, the seasons don't really change, so I have to make it happen!

Ps I work at Kohls and we had gotten some Halloween pillows, kitchen towels and only one set of placemats in last week. Idk if your Kohls gotten anything in yet but we are slowly getting them in👍🏾
