As much as New York makes Casey, Casey ALSO makes New York. It's so electric to watch Casey's love affair with the city! He is the biggest celebrity there is in New York. He's ACTUALLY approachable and even encourages approaching him through showing strangers in his videos. It's just such an honor to be able to partake.

Guess I never thought about it, but did not know NYC got down like that for Halloween. It's nice to see the validation of your move back as being the right one. @@b3at2 as someone who grew up in ny, catching the end of the bohemian era, the city is dead. you can't have a thriving artistic community in a place where a single bedroom apartment costs like 3 grand a month. i watched NY die. Casey only loves it so much because money isn't an issue for him. so glad i got out of that shithole.

The city is very clean now, yes its expensive because all the billionaires moved in but NYC is still a place where art thrives… minus all the crack and heroin and HIV epidemic and record murder rates…this time around its much cleaner.

My oh my. The people, the energy, the music is so powerful in this one. I LOVE how the video pans out to the entire skyline at 3:30! The energy at that point is incredible! And then we jump back down to Casey riding home and it is so quiet and peaceful. This is might be a 10 casey video for me because of that sequence to me.

I moved out of NYC this past year, after 40 years there. I always enjoyed Casey's videos when I lived there. Watching them now--now that he has returned--and it is so much more touching and powerful to see these streets, all so deeply familiar to me. I worked just two blocks from Casey's studio, so his shots in Tribeca particularly bring up my nostalgia for the greatest city in the world! I can at least live in NYC again by proxy by following Casey's vlogs.

I wonder how Casey imagined this video would be when he was still in his studio during the day. There's probably an hour of footage we didn't see because the story evolved to Casey hanging with NYCers hitting a blunt and it got wrapped into a 3 minute movie. The energy was awesome!
