Three years after he last terrorized his sister Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis), Michael Myers is back in Haddonfield!
Freddie Harris (Busta Rhymes) and Nora Winston (Tyra Banks), the reality programmers at DangerTainment, have selected Rudy (Sean Patrick Thomas), Bill (Thomas Ian Nicholas), and a group of thrill-seeking teenagers to spend one fun-filled night in the childhood home of infamous serial killer Michael Myers (Brad Loree). Cameras are placed all over the house and no one can get out of the house… But the planned live broadcast turns deadly when their evening of excitement becomes a night of horror as Michael Myers himself decides to crash the party. The game turns into a struggle to make it out of the house alive.

To everyone confused in the comments: this is Laurie, this is his sister, and this was NOT a romantic kiss. This was her final way of saying goodbye to the only family she had left. Was it a weird choice? Yes. Upon re-inspection is it that big of a deal? No.

Previous Laurie was so cautious to the point where she didn't even go near Michael when he reached out to her and didn't hesitate decapitating him. That Laurie would've made sure Michael is completely harmless before attempting to unmask him. Technically it's the same Laurie but characters can change so much between movies.

@@wizzgamer it was something in the contract I believe at the time. An overlooked clause that Michael couldn’t die off in that particular movie. Still H20 had the most satisfying ending of them all. Resurrection def sucked but Jamie telling Michael he lost because she’s not afraid of him and her asking him if he was afraid of her were the only thing that I found to be deep.

For those of you who are confused the Halloween franchise has 4 different timelines: 1st timeline: Halloween 1978 Halloween 2 Season of the witch ( You can include this one, but Michael isn't in it, but it's suppose to explain his curse) Halloween 4 Halloween 5 Halloween 6 In this timeline Laurie and Michael are related and Laurie has a daughter who is Michael's niece who he tries to kill in 4-6 and he does kill her in 6. 2nd Timeline: Halloween 1978 Halloween 2 H20 (Halloween 20 years later) Halloween resurrection In this timeline Laurie has a son (Josh hartnett) instead of a daughter like we saw in the first timeline, and Michael and Laurie are still brother and sister. 3rd timeline: Rob Zombie Halloween (2007) Rob Zombie Halloween 2009 4th timeline and current: Halloween 1978 Halloween 2018 Halloween kills 2021 Halloween ends 2022 In this timeline the directors altered what happened in halloween (1978) and had michael captured instead of getting away at the end like we saw in the other timelines, he eventually escapes after years of being in the asylum, laurie and michael are not related in this timeline hence why Halloween 2, which is the Halloween that established that they were related is not in this timeline, Laurie has a daughter and granddaughter, Halloween ends is the next movie in this timeline.

In my book no it's not the real Michael Myers , the real one got decapitated at the end of Halloween H20 and that Halloween timeline ended properly with that movie . Resurrection is a piece of garbage that does not exist . lol

In my headcanon, Resurrection, Halloween 2007 and 2009 was some kind of dream Michael had when he's paralyzed in the van before he was decapitated in H20.

I remember when i watched this movie in theater and i felt so disappointed with this scene. Laurie Strode should never die. H20 would be a sequel of H6 and she must Kill him in RESURRECTION in a Last fight.

I will always love this Halloween cos me & some friends went to the theatres to see it. Was my very first horror movie in cinemas & was a very long time that I had been to one back then. I absolutely loved it and was so scary.

In my head canon 80% of the movie doesn't exist and the final fight between Laurie vs Michael and the car crusher scenes were the last 15 mins of Halloween kills. It's much better that way and ignores all the pointless bullshit with Corey and the grand daughter that were entirely incoherent & fucking pointless padding to make a trilogy instead of a tighter 2 movie finish. Right after Michael kills Laurie's daughter in kills he goes after Laurie, gets fucking annihilated and evil died tonight.

Personally i think it should of been left at H20 and even then I'm being way generous as i think Haloween II was technically the demise of myers - it was clearly him she beheaded in H20 and that should of been the final final chapter but typical hollywood wants to exploit these things, i know John Carpenter would be spitting at it now seing something he started going to the crappers.!

@@270687carl It wasn't right for Jamie Lee Curtis to return to the Halloween Series in 1998, after being away from the franchise for 17 years. To kill Michael Myers, to get some sort of redemption ( revenge ) from her 1978 arc. On top of that Jamie Lee Curtis wanted Halloween H20 to be the very last film.
