Yea I’ve seen quite a few people do it that way. I just don’t trust that some of the resin isn’t getting down into the liquid. I also wonder how difficult it would be to fix a tumbler (that maybe leaks or something) that was plugged that way. Have you had any problems with leaking before?

girl! Use the bigger hot tool that has the indent, not the flat! I have the same tool and it's a game changer for making those holes!!!

Hi.... Have you even tried 2 different colors? I guess the second color would need to be a completely different solutions, as to not mix with the veg. glycerin, as well as not mix with the mineral oil..... I'm thinking of purple, orange, and black for Halloween lava lamp tumblers......

Will the alcohol ink ever stain the tumbler over time if sat for so long? I’m just curious as this mixture looks beautiful and that flow and I’d like to try it ❤

Mine has been sitting for a couple months and I haven’t had any staining and the color has remained with the oil that was originally colored.

It wouldn’t work because the glue and water will mix together. You’ll need two different liquids that won’t mix.

I'm having problems with at what point should I fill it with baby oil cause I can't get enough bubbles and it doesn't look like yours. What am i missing? :(

Hi! Yes, mineral oil is a major component of baby oil. So you can use but you may get slightly different results

Some people use food coloring. I haven’t tried though. If you do give it a try Be sure to come back and let me know what you think.

Can you rinse this stuff down the drain? And reuse the squeeze bottles

I wouldn’t recommend rinsing it down the drain. I poured my mess ups in a plastic cup, then put it in a plastic grocery bag… and then threw it in the trash. I did however, wash the residual fluid out using Dawn dish soap and water in the sink and reused the bottle.

When ever I make it, the drip falls too quickly, what could be the problem please?

It could be a number of factors. Are you using the vegetable glycerin and mineral oil? If so, how much vegetable oil and how much mineral oil? Like what’s the ratio of the two. If you’re using the oils I used and the ratios, it could be that there’s too much free space in the tumbler.

@@quatechiacreates I’m from the uk, so I’m using vegetable glycerin mixed with food colouring and mineral oil my ratio is 1/3 glycerin and 2/3 mineral oil. Thanks for your help 😊

I use about 2/3 glycerin (2 ounces specifically) and 1/3 mineral oil (1.5 ounces) for mine. The vegetable glycerin is thicker so more will slow it down
