@Travis L CE shields were way stronger than H2s. The beam rifle is powerful for H2 because shield strength was reduced due to the hide and regen health aspect. Basically the sniper rifle is a one shot in H2 as well but in CE it took I do believe two or three shots from a sniper to kill a gold elite.

I refuse those results.

@@Gutenburg100 Dude, It takes 3 shots from a sniper to kill a Gold Elite in halo 2. Blue Elite - 1 sniper shot, Red elite-2, Gold-3 & Silver-4. I'm talking about Legendary. I haven't played other modes, so i don't know about them.

That was a perfect example of why I love the enemy AI in Halo: CE. It was very dynamic for its time, and still is now (inconsistencies aside lol).

Hmmm.. odd. In other vids this elite was annihilated by an H2 hunter. Health levels must be set differently in the videos. The elite here took a good 3 hits from the Hunter. That’s about what it took to kill him in another vid.

Nope, that’s what he’s saying. Ce elites voices were just Johnson’s voice clips but reversed, yet reversed they sound better than halo 4 on my opinion

I definitely geeked, I was thinking for the most part he was facing enemies so far below his level and it looked like he was barely even trying, then goes all out against the hunter using every ounce of skill and speed.

Actually Jackal Snipers are good marksmen but not always accurate and can miss easily plenty of times. However Halo 2's bad legendary balancing makes their accuracy pinpoint, which has turned into a meme and stereotype. However they aren't that good.

@@epsilon383 I'm not sure if you've played halo 2 legendary, but if you have then you'll know that not only are jackal snipers good, they're too good. They can be beaten, but not by other AI, only player.

@@m.r.2953 Yes but even having such good aim, they can't do much at close ranges like this. They perform better at mid-long ranges. And yes its possible for them to miss. I have played H2 on PC LASO BTW.

Jackal Snipers tend to shoot their snipers until their weapon overheats, it goes unnoticed due to them missing and hitting the next shot before hitting you with the third if they missed the head.
