Showcase of all weapons available in Halo 2: Anniversary's Campaign remaster (2014).
I kinda covered this game years ago but it always bugged me that it wasn't really properly edited/recorded, it was missing some stuff and it suffered from audio delay issues. So, since i've gotten a bit better at making these showcase videos over the years, i decided to revisit it and do a better job this time. Enjoy!

The new sniper rifle sounds soooo good and powerful, I enjoyed every time that I had this weapon during my playthrough, it's so cool

One small detail I noticed about the UNSC weapons , in both the original and remake, is smoke comes out the barrel. A small but nice detail.

I love that if you listen closely to the Plasma Rifles, you can still hear the classic firing sound in there, just beefed up. And that Sniper is just the definition of what an Anti-Material rifle should sound like: MEATY

they went out of their way to make the plasma rifle and the brute variant sounds a little different. its not very noticeable but still there and cool

The H2A smg sound effect is absolutely one of my favourites in the entire halo series. It makes the gun so much fun to use. Even the magnum is fun to use even though it isn't great for damage just because of its updated sound effect. They did such a brilliant job with a lot of the human weapons. Have some misgivings with some of the updated alien weapon sounds tho.

In this Halo, the SMG clip is on the side of the weapon, in Halo 5, they changed it so that it’s now on top

Yea they're 2 seperate variants. The one in halo 2, 3, and ODST is the M7 submachine gun. The one in Halo 5 is the M20 submachine gun, which replaced the M7 after the Human-Covenant war

Random fact: If you use active camo while holding the shotgun or brute shot, you can see the ammunition inside the gun. Probably just a mistake by the developers.

True dat. I like the BR55 sound in classic Halo2 than the anniversary. It's got that thunderous bang in every burst shot.

I think Bungie kind of pussied out with the sounds in H2 and 3. With the exception of covenant weapons, all UNSC weapons sounded far beefier and powerful in CE.

343 always depicted wrong about energy sword, the sword itself is a "frozen" plasma after the gas was released from the hilt not hard light crystal sword. You can see gas cloud duringb sword ignition in OG Halo 2.

While I think Halo 4 has the best sounds for almost every weapon, some sounds in Halo 2A are more superior. They are the Magnum, Shotgun, Battle Rifle, Beam Rifle, Sniper Rifle, Frag- and Plasma grenades.

I've noticed that almost no videogames show dual-wield reloads. Maybe if devs worked harder, they could add them, but I think this will forever be a little lazy detail.
