It's because of where you're spaced. The gun sounds change depending on the size of the room and your position in it.

Grim Looters the only time he had a visible satchel model was in CE on his Mark 5 suit , And then you had those ammo carrier variations in reach reach with rifle rounds & grenades round being on the chest plate So it could work

I never realized how precise the third person animations are comparing them with the 1st person. Usually the third person animations are lazy and sometimes it doesn't even do what the 1st person animations do, but they even add the holographic sights of the Covenant and Furerunner weapons, and it looks amazing!

Dude the animations for the forerunner tech is a work of art. This game gets flak and it's fair but the art direction and quality of movement is fucking absurdly good.

I may disagree with art style, but the direction yes i agree with what they have done. Like animation and extra bits. But overall style i disagree with. Primary gripse are armor and race wise. Seriously the elites man. Weapon changes can easily be wxcused as entire new guns.

I'm sure their artists are just as skilled as Bungie's any every other major games company - the problem was direction. It's not the individual modeler's job to create designs, just to realize them. To restate, Halo 4/5's fuckups in art direction were that of the concept artist and whoever greenlit the concept artist's design.

@@solaris5303as someone working with a talented indie team, it's usually art directors rather than individual concept artists who are responsible for artistic decisions. directors lay out the intended look and feel of the project (who establishes the "look" of a project usually depends on the studio, either higher project leads or just the art directors themselves) and artists, from in-house employees to freelancers, use that direction as a sort of visual rulebook to build off of. art directors have to establish things very early on, and it's highly unorthodox for concept artists to be the ones suggesting visual direction cues. they usually receive directions and design things in an iterative process where they check back with art directors for feedback and adjust accordingly. its a much more collaborative process than some would assume

The only thing about the weapons that I did not like is that when you inspect the plasma gun an animation appears and in all the halos it was the same but halo 5 changed it It's like when there is a chain and everyone repeats the same joke and then someone comes along and says a better joke but it doesn't feel right because the chain has already ruined

Best part of the 3rd person audio is how it changes depending on how far away you are from the person shooting. The pistols from far away sound like popping instead of gunfire, which is how guns sound from a distance irl.

I could be wrong, but I think Halo is one of the few games where you can see the actual first person animations from the third person perspective.

So you’re telling me that when they reload the rocket launcher they don’t just put new rockets in but they take off an entire clip which I’m not sure if it should even be called that and put a whole bother clip with two other rockets that must weigh a shit ton on the launcher
