+ DEADPOOLXI Gravity Hammers can deflect rockets, grenades, etc., just time your swing correctly. And, your suspicion is correct.

You can also use the grinders vortex to block rockets fired from rocket launches. Even if they shoot a little at your feet. If you time it right the vortex will send it flying in another direction. Its pretty cool. Sadly it doesn't block rockets from a mantis or wasp

Wow, I've never paid attention to the little idle animations you get for gravity hammers, that looked cool as hell! Didn't know about the gravity hammer ground pound animation either. And, thats some of the best use of power weapons I've seen in war zone.

It seems like with the Corpsemaker, if you equip a speed boost, the red reticle range while sprinting increases substantially too. Is this true? Or just my imagination..

I love the gravity hammer shove. And I love how it blocks energy swords. I’m glad the hammer in halo 5 is fun to use. And useful. Like being a better defense against energy swords. You could just shove the attack off and kill him. Insanely helpful to know that you could just shove to kill a sword user and it blocks almost all damage.

Only thing I'm still curious about is how far they push you back on each swing. I'm a momentum player and avoid gravity hammers. If I don't time my swings just right they'll bring me to a complete stop and get me killed.

forgotenscars, when using hammers your best bet is to save your boost for use after a swing, I'm a momentum player as well and I can assure you hammers are a almost always a good option

So now that this has been released, I have to wonder... Which is better: Sword or Hammer? I'm aware that it's *skill* that determines the effectiveness, but I'm talking about the practicality. Swords are more agile, swung faster, and have more range. Hammers are more destructive, counter 1v1s, and can EMP vehicles. Although, I'm setting my eyes on either Prophet's Bane or Tartarus's Gavel. Stealth or Strength? Can someone test both swords and hammers in matchmaking? I don't have enough REQ cards to test it myself.

Shadoenix, so if we are talking base swords and hammers, I'm gonna say hammers are better especially in tactical applications, for instance, while swords will only kill and deal damage directly, hammers deal proximity damage, have knockback for vehicles, directly counter swords, use less energy per swing, and atop all that the gravitational pulse can be used to deflect projectiles which include rockets, grenades (launched or thrown), plasma caster shots and probably more. At the end of the day, I'll take a hammer over a sword

You should put "increased shields" armour mod for extra health weapons (Tartarus' Gavel, Georges Chaingun) to see if it is worth equipping on the armour mod.

How does the T. Gavel interact with OS? Does it take your T. Gavel shield strength as the base and multiply by 3 for OS strength? So 7 bursts to strip shields w/o OS and 7+21 to strip shields with OS? And then 1 more for the headshot? That's what I think is happening.

I have a Love Hate relationship against the Gravity Hammer. I love it because you can dominate if you use it the right way. I FUCKING Hate it because it makes the swords obsolete in any engagement in Grifball.

Nah, man, they buffed the hammer because people complained it wasn't strong enough to flip vehicles such as warthogs, so now the gravity hammer has 1 hit kill a little outside of it's RRR and it stuns people even out of that 1 hit kill range so people can't use smart link.

If you want to hammer jump (and don't care about ammo), then you'll want to swing at the ground right as you jump, and then stabilise and swing twice more after that. Also nice grifball play. for a noob. ;)

i did some searching and came across a suspicious channel, i don't want to simply assume, but his video contained Aozolai's data. i do feel the channel deserves to be punished for its actions, but from the looks of it, Aozolai does not wish to do so at the moment. @Azolai; just to double check does the channel have around 4.3k subs?
