theres been a recent study that found that only people who are actually biotin deficient benefit from a biotin supplement. most of us can get plenty of it from our food or a daily multivitamin at a normal amount, which is 30 micrograms. taking excessive amounts of biotin may actually affect lab results of things like blood tests, causing doctors to misdiagnose patients. hope this helps. sources: www.fda.gov/medical-devices/safety-communications/fda-warns-biotin-may-interfere-lab-tests-fda-safety-communication ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/Biotin-HealthProfessional/

I just want to say your channel is extremely refreshing and I really enjoy your content. I am always someone who asks " Why?" " What does it do" "Where does it come from." So I greatly appreciate your breakdowns. I would really love your opinion and breakdown of dimethicone and like used ingredients in products. I feel like in recent years there is a HUGE influx of products with dimethicone very high on the ingredient list and it makes me really uncomfortable and yet Its in a few of my daily lotions. Face and body. I know its used to lock in moisture but the rate it is now getting absorbed into our skin with it being so prominent in our products is it truly safe for the long run? Keep doing what your doing its awesome!

I love that you are reviewing the ingredients. People do the one month test but for hair, and nails, you have to try it long enough to where your hair grows out a ton. I don't think people realize that to see a difference in your hair you have to grow out what has already grown.

Use cool - cold compresses on and under the eyes. Try using a gentle moisturizer that contains a caffeine derivative to help brighten and decrease the puffiness under and around your eyes . I'm sure she does do her own research but let's be real when I see half of the names Kenna easily flows with, I immediately think they're chemicals, I myself have some research but when you're having to literally look up most of these ingredients it takes a lot longer than watching a review not to mention, 'research' basically means Google... And yes hopefully everyone knows to look up something published by. Edu. Gov etc as there's 10-20 years of research that must go into them before they can be published.... I apologise, you prob knew that. However Kenna also mentions levels of intake, certain ingredients enhancing the effects other meds one might be taking etc.... So I suppose it's just nice to have a source, such as Kenna to assist those of us who are doing our best to interpret a subject we're not experts on.

Ok. I tried the kiwi seed because i wanted to support her. I didn't expect much if anything at all to be honest. I didn't notice anything at first but around the 3rd week i did accident start to notice a change. Oddly though not Just my skin but my hair as well but that's because it was my scalp (which is skin obviously ) that was benefiting. I have dehydrated skin (i dont drink enough water im working on it lol) but my skin does produce oil. So does my scalp. But my scalp and face were dry. I was losing much less hair when taking the kiwi seed and my scalp was no longer dry and patchy. I also stopped breaking out around my period and in general as well as my face skin being much less dry and more hydrated. I thought maybe it was my skincare routine since i was using more products but its not. I know this because i stored using the kiwi because of financial issues and after about a month of stopping it i Brendan to get dry skin again both face and scalp, i began to break out again around my period. And i started to notice a lot of hair loss. Well after having a scalp treatment i found out i had cradle cap but In adults. There were thick patches that were causing my hair to fall out in clumps. I've been using a cheap beauty vitamin as well as motivated shampoos. Nothing is working. Basically my skin (scalp and face) is producing too much sebum. That sebum is clogging my pores causing the dryness and patches on my scalp since that oil is building up and clogging the hair follicles which is in turn causing my hair to fall out and breakouts from too much sebum as well as the whole testosterone thing. So with what you says this kiwi seed claims to do it actually makes a lot of sense because without it I'm experiencing all these issues again which are all things the kiwi seed claims to prevent. I didn't know what it was in them that was helping me age figured i cigs take any old vitamins. But now i know it's something, likely the kiwi seed extract, in this formulation that is what i need. I'm going to do a kind of test. I'm going to take pics and notes on my skin and scalp conditions and begin taking the kiwi seed again and Document as i do. Im not Cushing anything else in my routine (skin care, diet)i will stop using the medicated shampoos and current vitamins though so i know it's not those things making a difference after prolonged use. I want to see if it helps these issues again. If it does theres your human study it works.

I'd really like for you to not only compare the amounts of vitamins etc in a commercial supplement vs the one reviewed, but also what are actual recommended doses for the body for (for example) daily intake... since a lot of basic supplements don't hit those doses either or overload which is just excess you wouldn't need :) (writing this at the beginning of the video in response to the last halo review)

Yeah I’ve heard some surprising outcomes of taking them. 2 beauty youtubers have gotten pregnant by taking them. One was planned because she was having fertility issues and one just got pregnant out of nowhere she was shocked and people had warned her but she brushed it off and thought it was bs.😳

Could you do a video on DIY skincare? I know a lot of estheticians and dermatologists don’t like it; but I’m curious from a biochemist’s point of view

What is your opinion/ advice on collagen peptides? See lots of people taking them as a supplement, but haven’t seen any legitimate reviews. Would love to know your opinion!

A licensed pharmacist gave the similar review on Halo kiwi. She said multivitamins are not a one size fits all. So everyone’s bodies are different. Some work for some people and some don’t. Especially women taking birth control should avoid vitamins with palmetto. Halo vitamins have palmetto in it. So best is to consult with your doctor before taking any form of supplements. Because people with pre existing health conditions and medications can clash with some vitamins which could affect the overall performance of the vitamins and vice versa. I’m currently taking OLLY. First week in and my nails are already growing long.
