Hi there! Welcome to this house building video in the Sims 4. Today I'm building Halo. This is a fully functional, futuristic circular house. This house is inspired by Orb, the spherical house I built a couple of weeks ago.
I've built this house on the 64x64 lot in Brindleton Bay, the world that came with the Cats & Dogs pack for the Sims 4. You can find this build on the Gallery, search for TheSimStream. I hope you'll enjoy this video!

Why can we not just delete the roof walls, its 2020, sims is so behind yet people like you push it past its limits with your creativity

Coding takes a lot of work it’s simple for people to say “it’s 2020 we should be able to do such in such” but if you don’t know why it hasn’t been done yet don’t sweat it. Ask the developers for what you want and hope they can do it. Sometimes they aren’t able to do the things we want because when you make a game sometimes you code things that make it impossible to change smaller things i.e., bugs. That’s why they make newer games. They wouldn’t have been able to fix the graphics for sims 3 with the software and codes in bedded in the game.

@@jodjadien ok coding to delete walls is hard but not 8 million expansion packs?? Pretty sure it's just their priority is money rather than investing in a solid base game, otherwise maybe they would've included things that were previously in base game in the sims 4 version.

Here's how I get past some of my own building blunders (because I used to make actual boxes with stuff in them...REALLY ugly boxes). 1- It's easier to pick when you have a sim in mind. If you know their style, you'll be able to incorporate it into the build. 2- decide how big the house needs to be. A small house is easier to set up but takes more effort to plan the layout and vise versa. 3- Start with some squares and work your way through a layout. Do it over and over until you're happy. 4- Interesting shapes make interesting builds so don't be afraid to do something outside of your comfort zone. If it doesn't work, nbd. 5- Last but not least, plan a bathroom before throwing things in. I once made an octogon beach house and almost blocked the back door with a toilet. Plan the bathroom lol. Hopefully, those help you a bit! I'm still learning to build, too.

I've been playing The Sims for 20 years. I'm always watching speed builds, I've seen some incredible stuff out there. But this, this got me, I clicked so fast when I saw the thumbnail and started screaming lol! Really, you have a gift, such a creativity, oh my God... this is the best creation I've ever seen on this game, in all those years. Thank you so much for this!

It's such a stunning design! As for new packs, I'm really happy with Eco Lifestyle, but a futuristic pack would be my DREAM pack. I'd love something like turning Sixam into a proper liveable world!

Incredible. I agree with what everyone is saying. EA should hire you to work on these games just to show the devs how to push their content and really produce awesome stuff that people will want to be more creative.

Most modern houses i had built in sims 4 are always ended with flat roof (which are basically without applying the roof, just plain floor and other finishings) XD Yet, you did many experimental things with roofs in your buildings that i never thought of that. Amazing as always 😁
