Everybody loves multiplayer, but it's always been Halo's campaign and story that kept me coming back.

Halo came out when I was a teenager, and I’m 37 now. I swear I’m an adult, but I’m so hyped for this. As an adult, getting hyped for things is far and few between, so it’s even more special

My 8 year old self playing halo CE would be so hyped to know that Halo is still a thing in 2021 and that I'm still getting excited watching trailers like this. It's honestly difficult to wrap my head around the time that has passed, the people that have come and gone, where my life has taken me, etc. But one thing that has been consistent over all the year is my love for video games, plain and simple. And games like Halo in particular have such heavy, positive emotions and nostalgia its hard to describe, but I know many of you here feel exactly the way I do. It's a beautiful thing to see all of the people here having similar experiences growing up and loving the community interactions and the games themselves.

I was 6 or 7 years old when I first played halo ce. My mom wouldn't let me play it for obvious reasons but, once a week when I went to my dad's house he would. He would love to watch me play and we even played split screen sometimes. I vividly remember not being able to beat the mission 343 guilty spark because I was too scared to go forward. Until I played coop w my dad and he showed me there was nothing to be scared of. As I grew up halo grew with me over the years. I am so thankful for all of the memories this series has given to me. I miss you dad

2023, I've played again all the Halo games, and Infinite is just *chef kiss* honestly hat off to 343i, they really nailed it. Looking forward for the next entry on this new Halo era.

I’ve been a PlayStation gamer 1st and Nintendo gamer a close second my whole life and this generation I decided to buy an Xbox Series X with GamePass Ultimate. Gears 5 was my first Gears of War game and it’s amazing (still need to finish it and will!), Forza 5 was my first Forza game and it’s pretty damn fun. Now onto Halo. I have never played anything else other than a couple co-op missions and multiplayer back in Halo 3 because my brother owned a 360 and the game was pure hype back in high school that even I knew how big the game and release were from the outside looking in. Had fun playing it but I didn’t really dig into it myself. I was hyped for Halo Infinite and was no doubt going to set aside time to play it from day one to see for myself what Microsoft’s flagship mega series was all about. I’m 70% through the game right now (based on tracking from the completion achievement) and HAVE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT!! I have been thoroughly enjoying the game and doing all the FOBs, targets, rescue missions, and collectibles marked on the map. I know the end of the game will come soon and there’s nothing like experiencing something great for the first time so I’m taking it all in. I’m a fan now and can see why there’s so much love for the series established since the first game. Master Chief is the freaking man and every time he speaks it’s the coolest most attention-commanding thing ever. Amazing.

I’m 35. Just got ankle surgery. Don’t have an Xbox anymore. But my friend does. And he’s loaning it to me. Only have room for one...more...game. It’s been almost 20 years. This will be my 3 week recovery with Halo: Infinite.

In christmas of 2001 my parents gave me the option of getting either the xbox or the ps2. I chose the xbox, and the first game i ever played on it was Halo CE. 20 years later, I feel like that same kid again, ready to play Halo. Thank you for the memories and for reviving the kid inside me.

I bought this but haven't gotten around to playing it yet, the first 2 games meant a lot to me though. I worked third shift at target when the second one came out and stayed after work until they opened just to buy the special edition or whatever they called it, the metal case one with a DVD of stuff. More than just nostalgia for the game though I just miss that part of my life in general.

When things are good, don't forget the times when they were bad. 343, you have done an amazing job, please don't forget what it took to recapture the fanbase. You have all done an amazing job, please never stop evolving.

I like that they added a huge array of enemies in this game. Almost every enemy from previous games made a comeback!! I hope they do the same with maps like adding Guardian, Sandtrap and Blood Gulch etc.

I just finished the campaign. By far the BEST Halo in a very long time. I'd argue it's better then 3 or Reach. Not to mention they brought back a lot of classic soundtracks. I'm in love with this game

No lie, not even half way into the campaign and the tears of joy don't stop. I can feel every emotion chief is going thru, just like many of us OG players do. Can't wait to get home and continue the journey. We are Sierra 117.

This was a VAST improvement over the last two games. Sure 4 at the time felt like a much needed change to the franchise AT the time but it didn’t feel like Halo. Neither did 5 but this game… man oh man was it a relief to relive the glory days of Halo with Infinite. I just recently finished my play-through for this game and man oh man could I not stop grinning from ear to ear with every gameplay experience I had with the campaign.

This campaign was so good.

This was my first videogame I ever played. My uncle got me Halo: CE on disc when I was 7 years old in 2002. Blew my mind away. Haven't played any Halo since then but this one feels very familiar.

I wanna mention how well the gameplay footage is edited together, I love these kinds of transitions

I know it wasn't everyone's favorite, but I really loved the one shot style of the game with no cuts in gameplay or cutscenes and very few loading screens overall. I really hope it returns in whatever comes next.

Just finished the campaign and just.. wow! Compliments are deserved where compliments are due :) Really a solid game of great quality along with a great story keeping us thrilled with the mysticism of ancient beings like when playing Halo CE all those years ago. Keep up the great work - looks like the future of Halo is in good hands :)

Throughout my years gaming since I was 6 years old with a Nintendo 64. I have never been more pumped for a game than when I see Master Chief and Cortana fight together to save humanity. From Halo CE to Halo 5 I was always hyped for every single entry. HALO holds a special place in my heart as one of my favorite franchises of all time.

I have never been a big Halo fan, i have played halo 1 - 3, and after reach i just stopped. but man...from now on, count me in. 343 did an amazing job with the campaign. For me the best game of the year!

I played Halo: CE demo at a friends when I was 12 years old and was absolutely enthralled. The ruthless mysterious aliens on this open island. Man what a trip. Im 27 now and played every single game in the franchise. What a Great Journey

I remember this as clear as present day, In third grade I opened my Xbox live magazine and inside was a disk with game demos on it. One of those demos was Halo. Specifically the mission the silent cartographer, I played that mission probably 100 times. It was like no other game I had ever played before. It was so great that my elementary school friends asked for Xbox’s for Christmas just to play it. We all play infinite together after work online. Just like the old days.
