Props to the marine at 1:16 for running that distraction so his buddy could get a shot at the brute's back. Teamwork makes the dream work

Brute chieftains were NEVER that big in previous games! He’s easily 10ft tall. Very good job by 343 on getting the brutes to terrifying scale! He’s a TANK

Brutes are from 8 feet 4 inches to 9 feet 2 inches.

A little too big. These Brutes are as big as Hunters.

I love how massive chieftains are in this game. They are literally walking tanks. Side note hunters could be a little bigger, yeah I know they hunch but they still look kinda small compared to other games.

They always portray the hunters too small, even hunched they are basically one head taller then brutes. Brutes are about 280cm tall, hunters are 1 Metter taller standing at 380cm

I wish the ai for themarines would duck and dive more like previous halo games. Though you can't deny how sick they look.

They seem to take fck all punishment compared to even a grunt. Might make it a better firefight.

This honestly puts into perspective how fucking terrifying brute chieftain would be in real life against a marine their size and just coming straight at you with a that cannon eating bullets like it’s nothing and slapping full vehicles out the way like a monster 😳

Marines are basically equivalent to jackals. They should add ODSTs to be equivalent to elites, and Spartan IVs for Chieftans

Spartan 4's are no were near chieftains, and ODST's are no were near elites. Both are considerably taller and stronger. Elites have similar strength to Spartan 2's. Brutes are just monsters. Their strength is unparalleled, just look at basis pick the the master chief at 1000 pounds with ease.

1:14 Brutes don't like being on the receiving end of shotguns, that is why Atriox fought red team and kept the shotgun wielding spartan down.. and why Brutes love using human shotguns they are devastating

Man I wish we could get a DLC campaign where we play as our multiplayer spartan where we get to experience the battles of zeta halo before the UNSC was defeated and the survivors went into hiding

Yeah and then swap out the models of the Spartans we pick up equipment from with your own! That would be crazy to see your own multiplayer character dead and have Chief mourn it

In the life action, the ODSTs take down Brute Chieftans with Rocket Launchers. There must be so much pressure to be the Rocket or Sniper marine in the unit. You're essentially the only thing standing in the way of all your friends dying.

The chieftain wouldn't stand a chance against the Call of Duty World at War AI. The grenade spam on veteran would block out the sun.
