It’s probably my biggest halo infinite wishlist thing next to fighting a banished scarab (or a few) is seeing chief and blue team interact with captain cutter and red team.

I've always thought how iconically fitting it would be for the Spirit of Fire and her Crew to return one last time to fight the Banished, this time alongside Chief, the Weapon, and Echo-216 (F.E) being that they were the one and only force that managed to hold out and even beat the Banished many times while surviving it all. The stubborn ship and her crew would be a sight of hope.

The first mission of the game is FULL of halo wars 2 references, the one I immediately noticed was that the dreds were deploying the bases and power extractors

You know what I never understood. The Banished couldn't destroy the Spirit of Fire, yet they take out the Infinity in four minutes. Infinity is twice the size with much more firepower and has shields. The Spirit is an converted colony ship that's almost 90 years old. As much as I'd to the her again it's going to take a good explanation for how she survived.

I feel it will be like a mini marvel cinematic universe scenario where we in the end to take down atriox and the endless. We’ll see blue and red team team up together with Halsey and the arbiter along with others like lasky, locke and other notable legends. My theory: The Spirit of Fire will be found then sent to assist Infinity, due to their past experience fighting The Banished. They get there too late but they get distress calls from Zeta Halo one of them being from Capt. Laskey. They pick him up and Laskey debriefs Capt. Cutter on the situation. Laskey tells Cutter that Master Chief is currently MIA. Jerome is sent down to do some recon, fights his way through Banished forces to get to a friendly FOB. Isabel is put into the FOB system and that gets the attention of The Weapon. Chief and Jerome reunite and fly up to The Spirit of Fire.

I would love Jerome and Master Chief to acknowledge each other like "Jerome"... "John" as they just nod, because all Spartan II's should know each other since they all trained at the same place.

The color teams the SPARTAN IIs typically used were very loose. While teams have had specific starring members, like Blue Team, or permanent members, like Black and Grey Team, the team compositions were always arbitrary and put together based on the mission requirement. Blue Team wasn't just John, Kelly, Fred, and Linda. It was also sometimes William, or Kurt, or James. Fred and Kelly were also on Red Team at one point. Kurt and Linda were also led Green or Gold teams.

The incident or thing that serina couldn't anticipate is a reference of what happened during the book "Halo: Tales From Slipspace". In the book after the events of Halo Wars 1 there was a minor flood outbreak aboard the Spirit Of Fire in which spartan Jerome was almost killed.

So....there's no mention of the SoF in infinite because at this point in time no one knows that the SoF is at the ark. And they only took on a very small portion of the Banished at the ark, since Atriox only took one slipspace capable ship (The Enduring Conviction). The majority was left under the control of Escharum. His mentor. Also Red team has now gained another Spartan team, the Ferrets minus Mark because he....yeah. And now they're involved in a three way war for control of a slipspace crystal shard, between the Banished, the last of Truth's covenant who survived aboard the Anodyne Spirit. They have no way off the ark as of present.

Would love to see master chief and a few Spartans kicking banished ass in Infinite. Not just another solo Master Chief game.

Two-Three years late but it would basically become an Avengers-level event if Chief with The Weapon meets up with Red Team and Blue Team to fight the Banished or the new aliens in Infinite. The ENDGAME Avengers event would be those two teams joined by Grey Team by some miracle, a reintroduced Osiris (OG w/ Spartan Thorne), Alpha-9 Spartans, and The Swords of Sanghelios lead by The Arbiter.

Personally this is what's make or break for me on infinite. So far they've only fixed the mess 4 & 5 caused but they have not yet committed to some of there best new story works. Bottomline thespirit of fire along with their games unique aspects (goliaths, skitters, locust, grizzlies...ect) is what divides the game from decent too amazing

I heard that it might be the UNSC Eternity, the twin ship of the UNSC Infinity. I like to think that’s what Locke went to go do. I think that seems most plausible.

I hope spirit of fire does not retire as if it does it would have to be destroyed to follow the logic of returning to form of the main ships getting destroyed, as seen with the infinity defying all logic and being destroyed as if it does not have shields

Well for what the UNSC knows well whats left of it right now, is that they dont know that the spirit of fire is actually at the ARC roght now fighting. The only grouo that knows of the ship still being around is the bamished mainly atroix. With the up coming book we might be getting information about more uo to date knowledge about what is going on the ARC and that would included the spirit of fire.

Anders now has the ability to bring the Spirit of Fire to master chief. I'm sure she found a way to follow the Guardian. Her favorite saying " nothing ventured, nothing gained". I know a lot of us have asked these questions are hundreds of times or even thousands of times but as far as I can tell as it concerns with Halo infinite we have to also remember that their story department was completely cut after Microsoft's employee drops I would honestly love to see a DLC and I strongly keep advising so I'm starting everyone else here can't agree that it's been about 2 years the game should have had a Spartan ops if anything however DLC wise I strongly believe that they 100% should do a DLC based on the spirit of fire and Red team somewhere on zeta Halo and ultimately reconvene and try to reorganize more of the UNSC or we find the old screenshots of where the infinity suppose it crash site because I don't know if anyone remembers the banished did pretty much confirm it took him four minutes to neutralize the infinity most people said they don't know where it went but there are hundreds of thousands of theories are out there but considering the amount of damage it took as it was deliberately torn apart I strongly believe that there's a crash site I would like to see a dlc where we either reconvene with more of the Spartans or lasky even Palmer or even somehow find Halsey or we see the spirit of fire come in and that's when we get the rest of the biomes that we were promised to seeing campaign there's literally so much that they could work with but I feel like they strongly are relying on their seasons far more than their story but hopefully we get DLC with spirit of fire and her crew or the infinity crash site I would 1000% play non stop in campaign if we got something like that

I can see the spirit of fire returning by assembling all the slipspace from the condors and Forerunner Technology, the reason would be the next: Cutter and the crew finds out one of the rings was damaged thinking it was the ring where Anders departed they prepare a rescue mission after defeating the shipmaster and all the banished forces on the Ark leaving little to no resistance on the surface. In order to make more shocking the presence of the Spirit of Fire either Lasky still missing, was captured or heavily wounded, leaving cutter as the only captain for now and Master Chief is getting overwhelming by the endless power before getting defeat three drop pods reach the surface revealing the Red Team. Another things I would like to see -Brutes no longer wear the Halo 3 armour, it makes no sense since basically all the Atriox forces have their own armour or at least all painted in red. -the return of the mantis, diferents versions of the scorpion (you know the versions from Halo wars 2 and Halo 5) and the hornets. -Command stations just like in Halo Wars 2 where you can get it improve by scavenging the ring in order to have more control on the ring and better gear like Hannibal vehicles -finally but not least, Jerome developing a bond with Master Chief, in case this is the last time John is the main character, Jerome has to be the one who replace him, he has the charisma, his own family (Douglas and Alice), he's younger than him and so far he's been a genius in the combat reaching the title of commander, would be nice if by the end of Halo Infinite John relinquish the title of Master Chief to him.

I'm confused, I thought the halo in halo wars 2 was the same one in halo infinity, as halo wars 2 occurs after the war between human and convent, it should be installation 06 or 07 rather than 04. installation 04 was the first halo being destroyed by chief.

The reason why the Spirit of Fire and Red Team are not mentioned is because the UNSC still don't know they've rejoined the fight, still officially declared LWAH. I suspect we will get a Flood dlc because their last appearance was them facing the Banished and they may not have defeated them but reduced them to an amount that can be contained, perhaps even weaponized to a degree, maybe to be used should the UNSC start to gain a foothold. I believe the Spirit of Fire will show up and help us start to get back at the Banished.

343 has to connect everything eventually. They'd be dumb not to but they haven't had the best tract record with good story telling. I'd actually like to have a halo wars 3 first, possibly first person shooter this time? There's so much they need to answer first after the last book with the unsc, banished and now the San shyium/prellets/honor guards on the ark. Plus the halo ring that Dr. Andrew's was on that a Guardian stopped mid slip space. Finish that story first, connect it to halo infinite and have them show up. Not sure if lord hood is dead either but after it's all said and done, promote cutter to that position.

They had mk 4 gen 1 techsuit platform in Halo Wars 1. That they had personal shields like mc was ONLY for familiarity and gameplay wisr. NOT canon that part. In Halo Wars 2 they salvaged, with help of Sanders and Isabel tech to upgrade thr Mk IV techsuit platform to Gen 2 which in turn enabled energy shielding plus other snazzy extras that also Omega team got creative use for.

Its like we did not move forward a bit. infinity using forerunner drive and recently i discovered even shield are fused.. but nah.. banished beat infinity like nothing. 400 spartans onboard? nah.. it is good..
