They addressed various complaints and are adding features fans want Even if they're smaller scale

@@MAGPIELEONFirst off, Big Fan! I agree with what you're saying. I just feel that 343 could be doing so much more for the game. Forge is incredible , but if 343 isn't making most of the maps, why is the only "new" content shop related? We have voiced our dislikes on the shop prices, but they haven't even budge at all. SBMM has also just killed the overall enjoyment for me. It doesn't feel organic like past titles. I'm still hopeful, but man is it hard.

@ryanpeterson3300 Probably good to remember that 343 is most likely all hands on deck for the next game, and that just leaves a skeleton crew for Infinite. And armor is easier for them to design then new guns and vehicles hence why everything is forge and shop related

@@ryanpeterson3300 Agreed it seems a lot of Infinite gets cut right when it starts to get good, the MP story starts to get interesting, cut it. They achieved seasonality, cut it.

So there’s a lot of cool stuff in the store (I didn’t feel this way with cyber showdown) however the prices are a monstrosity, nothing was worth the price in my opinion despite being good designs

i doubt they'll be added to the catalog because non of the prior operation bundles have been added yet at least for me i can't even view the stuff as locked

@@MAGPIELEON I think they said prior event rewards will be available just not items that have been in the shop. Guessing the exchange will reset every month rather than weekly since you can only earn so many Spartan points and use them before the end of the month Hopefully it’s more like MCCs catalog where they just keep adding more instead of rotating it out. You’ll earn 14,500 from the operation and every week 1,000 and every day 250

I dont get it if 343 has so much confidence in forgers why not just drop the source files so modders can actually fix their game, they are going to abandon the slipspace engine anyway, maybe modders can lean how to use and actually have fun with the engine. Too bad thats a good idea and Microsoft hates those

I don't know a ton about game engine coding, but wouldn't exposing too much of the source assets also make it easier for the cheat developers?

Likely an unpopular opinion, but I actually hate there bringing back plasma pistol EMP. It's EMP niche was meant to be filled by shock weapons.

Honestly? I hate the shock weapons. The facts that the dynamos destroy your shield and health (and sometimes it feels like they chase you when they bounce around), half the weapons in the game stop vehicles, and you can die because a rando standing next to you got hit with a shock rifle are all bullshit.

The shock weapons weren't a necessary addition, in my opinion. The Plasma Pistol having the EMP ability is enough for me.
