I used to buy stuff frequently but after helldivers 2 came out it really opened my eyes because I could get a full game with credits that are earnable in game. I love my halo but man these prices are bonkers when that could get me a full game instead

From Spirit of fire to yappening 2, 343 had enough cosmetics to make 3 whole 100 tier battle passes yet chose to sell it all instead.

343 should at least make earnable credits a thing again. It's baffling how the newer "battle passes" don't come with credits anymore

Halo built so much goodwill with Season 5 and it really felt like a revival then they killed it with CU29. MM is too sweaty to have any fun in except the PvE modes.

The only sets here I really like is Conqueror and Taskmaster. And one of those is 2400 credits, which is insanity.

So keep in mind, that 343 told us previously that when they added cross core customization to the game, when they were separate, they didn't cost as much, but now they have added this in for the multi-core pieces, this did increase the cost. I do agree its all BS because the community wants the customization to be like Halo Reach where its one avatar to design all the customization around. In the end though, I think the best question to ask is, why do you care about buying anything in the store then if you think its overpriced? Do you have some imaginary 100% completion list you need to keep up on in getting all of this customization (you would have to spend hundreds of dollars if not thousands at this point on all of this customization in the end anyways)? Halo infinite does show what has been missed in each of the customization lists, but keep in mind there is no tracker of every single armor piece to complete in the game to get to 100% like in past games, so why worry about this? Remember that Infinite is not like Halo 5 or games before where there was a list of armors that were mostly earnable in game but Halo Infinite is not like that at all, the mindset we need to have is, just pick what you like in the shop and go with it (they literally told us early on, its like a Clothing store where you pick what you want, you do not need to buy everything in the store, there is no incentive for people to do so), you do not need to buy everything in the store at all that ever existed. Yes its all-digital 1s and 0s, but in the end, I completely bet the next Halo game, nothing is ported over from Infinite, everything is left in Infinite, and we have to start from scratch in the next Halo game, why care about buying much of anything more for the game? Just get the battle passes and move on, you could support them at least this way (even if it isn't the coolest armor sets).

After Helldivers, I literally lost all desire to buy anything from the store for Halo Infinite. And thats not even mentioning the game is already near the end of its lif span.

Those weapon models look sooooo good and overall I think the armor sets look great, but the pricing is so bad especially for a game 343 ditched for the next game.

Its funny cause if they actually let you purchase individual items id buy a ton of stuff, but since im getting up charged to get a ton of stuff I dont want for one or at best two things I do want, its just not going to happen.

I'm glad 343 can finish up the shop bundles instead of giving us more content actually related to gameplay! I guess their definition of gameplay is just swiping my card!

Conqueror Bundle stuff gives more Halo 3 Brute vibes than anything else imo, similar to the Taskmaster items

The one basic armor set we get in the operation compared to the shop bundles having the cool stuff is old. I'll take a 60 tier pass mash up with a few sets even.

Tbh, I think that every item in the shop should drop by 25-50% and most armors/coating doesn't appeal to me at all. I think I speak for Halo fans everywhere when I say that I miss the days when we didn't have to empty our wallets, and all we had to do unlock new armor was complete achievements and grind endlessly.

are they pricing things off of the armour rating (ie Common, uncommon, epic, legendary, ect) i still to this day have no idea WHY cosmetic armour has a "rarity" rating as if its Destiny or some RPG where the rating comes with benefits and im starting to think its just a way to "justify" store pricing...

Huh ... the weekly got changed since the leak. I was meaning to get home from work and grind for the coating based on the red hunters. Hopefully that's just delayed, not cancelled, because that one was the only genuinely good reward since the show helmets. The shop stuff ... meh. I'd probably pass on all of it even if the prices were 25% lower. They're making it a real easy call. I'd been wondering if some of the unreleased elite-based coatings might end up used in these bundles, but at this prices I'm glad they're not, so the remaining good stuff might potentially be sold individually or used for twitch drops or content in the upcoming Exchange type thing later.

They need to add past weapons vehicles and a veto/voting system. These things, match composer and I know they won’t add this at all but if they added pregame postgame lobbies we would be cooking. Then we could say game is getting what it needs, only thing aside from those things I would say is new modes from past games like griffball, multiteam vip ect. Next halo game needs everything infinite has plus these things at launch and we would be at a great place starting but won’t be till few more years. Hope they can add enough to infinite to keep it up. Store prices are ridiculous and honestly I just don’t open it up anymore. Anytime I play I just get my buddies together and we play matches. Don’t even care for the absurd prices they have, I bought stuff in the past but not buying anything since content updates started. All the money being made most likely is going towards the next game (hopefully). Enjoy the gameplay of infinite and honestly excited to see the next halo on unreal engine. It’s gonna be the game changer we needed for all these years we been asking for a better halo game. The engine will make halo feel unreal.😏

I still think the bundles look awesome. They Might be overpriced but for what you get, there’s still a lot more customization than other games like Fortnite or call of duty when you buy a skin that’s worth 20 bucks and you can’t customize it. Update overall is a 8/10

Exact same as the Cyber event before this one. I literally stopped playing over the prices and the fact the entire battle pass was filler with two piece of armour and the rest locked behind a $200 paywall. Fucking outrageous. Tired of bending over for Microsoft.

I will say it over and over again. They need to create tough/tedious weekly challenges to reward credits. Of course, it would have to be very little amount of credits otherwise these 25 dollars bundles will increase to 50 🙄

They should just release everything as a huge shop that sell every individual piece of gear/coating/effects. Make them 100-200 creds and scam people that way

It’s crazy how many different bundles they just threw out it feels like too, we almost need a more complete operation (seasons) instead of store items for micro transactions. Like the armor kit Boggart is cool but I’m over the kit concept after the CE and Flood kit they are all good in appearance but limiting your ability to customize them. Would be nice if all the previous items where permanently in the store getting rid of the cycle fomo system kinda (potentially past events items too?), and separated individually if you didn’t want to get a bundle for one item.

They know exactly how to piss on the consumer, knowing how you would have to spend about $50+ USD in order to have enough credits to purchase both the conqueror and cerulean distress bundles so you can create a Helldiver and I've already seen some whales sporting this very combo in matchmaking which means they're on to something here I guess 🤷‍♂️
