Grunts need a ball joint at the elbow, it would fit no problem on that beefy forearm and give them so much better movement

Even though I didn't grow up with Mega Bloks, I still collect old articulation figs. They just have a special charm to them that I love.

I was born in 2011 so I didn’t really get to experience the older versions and I can’t really find or get any older figures 😭😭😅but I’m glad I still get to see them on your channel btw I love ur channel/content

CONFESSION: i know about the helmets not being the same color as the metallic green chest.... BUT I AM ABLE TO UNSEE IT, AND IGNORE IT SOMEHOW :O

The first and grey elite you showed in old articulation was the actual Halo 2 elite. You can tell because the helmets are the same. Then the one you actually used to compare to the new Halo 2 elite is a Halo 3 elite minor, again the helmets line up.

Really makin me feel old, and I'm not that old.

Mega Blocks I like much more for the paint immersion. It holds up so well and a couple things are slightly bulky for me like the elite helmets on the new release is just a little too large. If it was a bit thinner it would mesh so much better

Really dug the comparisons, thank you for this. It's too bad that the newer figures don't incorporate both the marbling and the washes. Having both, I think, would provide some killer looks.

If they changed the new elite head mold it would definitely be perfect, it shouldnt be the halo 4 and 5 elites head

With the elite it’s weird that I almost prefer the old one as it’s almost like the halo 3 McFarlane figure scaled down. Maybe it’s the helmet and colour.

That new blue elite is the best figure they've ever made imo

Every new articulation figure is better now except for the brutes. The chieftain from the NMPD hq set will never be topped by the Infinite figs. Of course, I'm not talking about the new honor guard that came out recently that thing is insane

What would be peak would be new articulation figures with paint jobs like the old ones. And I mean not just in the hero lines or special packs but even the painted weapons to make them pop

Both even. Bloks were unique i tnik for spartans they had a good head/ body ratio except for marines, bc construx arms went to far out and with all the articulation and felt like mini action figures of mcfarlane. Constux had better customizable stuff and better looking covenant

I agree Simon, I feel like the mega bloks have more paint apps on not only the fig, but also the gun as well. I mean the spartan laser is just beautiful on the CQB. So one thing I wanna mention if you would be interested, Is I wanna see more stopmotions from you. I know you haven’t done it in a while, and it would be cool. I mean see ing the background of the video would be perfect for a stopmotion. So you should try it again.

9:48 Nah you ruined the balance here. The Mega Bloks Elite is an Elite from Halo 3, while the Mega Construx Elite is an Elite from H2A. The previous articulated Elite that came in the H.Infinite Mongoose was the Elite from Halo 3 as well, having a variant painted as Halo CE in the Clash on the Ring Blindbags. The Elite from Halo 2A is the counterpart to the first Elite from Halo Wars (as you can compare in the video) and has another painted variants, even the Ultra Elite from the first Wraith Set (a Top Figure imo), since these are based directly on the Elites from Halo CE/Halo 2 and some time later Bungie took the design of the Elites helmet for the Minor Elite in Halo Reach, being reused by Blur in H2A like the Halo Wars Marine Armor that we saw in green too.
