As much as I love the 2014 Elephant, this one is just phenomenal. How about the fact one can fit a warthog AND two mongeese in the interior?? Really want this one.

For all those who do get this set, the new hornet and the halo infinite wasp can also dock on this set. The wasp docks on the back 4 teeth of the side barricades, comfortably over the top of the warthog, and the hornet above the pilot’s nest, providing an additional cool angled doorway for the pilot.

I had a couple of QC errors with mine but they ended up being better than not having them, ended up with an extra 1x4 printed caution block in place of a plain one which was easy to sub with a piece from my collection leaving me a bonus printed piece and then one of my marines for some reason got a much darker shade of gray for the accent details on his armor, nearly black, making him stick out amongst others

So dang tempted to pick this up, but I’m not sure if I should grab this first or the Pelican. Never had a Pelican and thats like mandatory. I’ve still got the Mammoth so I have a pretty comparable vehicle and will still wanna pick this up but it also could just disappear and double in price super quick

It’s a difficult one, the Pelican has been out for 3 years now and still available at retail which is almost unheard of for Mega. The Elephant on the other hand does seem to be well stocked but it’s anyone’s guess how long for, and you’re right, it will double in price quickly. Whilst the Pelican is a fantastic set the Elephant is more impressive in my opinion. That said, I wouldn’t be without the Pelican and the fact you already have an Elephant I’d probably pick up the Pelican first and hope the Elephant stays available into next year. I’m still waiting for it to go on sale myself so I can pick up another one (or two).

I got one last month and it's well worth it. I've added a few things to mine like a gun rack, seat for the driver and a Small computer with a hand held comp like the one from the Platoon Pack also 2 Screens in the inside of the Elephant.

It’s a shame Bungie never made an Elephant dedicated mission in the Halo 3 campaign… it would’ve been like a cosy base building sort of mission. Mammoth tries this, but it ends up feeling like a train.

I just got this set and I noticed something that no one has talked about in any of these reviews, the two marines have different colors of printing. One marine has grey printing on his helmet and boots that matches the color on Johnson, Stacker, and the Universe series 2 marine. The other marine, for whatever reason, has black printing on her helmet and boots, which doesn't match any of the other Halo 3 style marines that Mega has made recently. I've gone back and watched a number of people's reviews on this set, and everyone has this exact same thing with the two marines, where one has grey printing and the other has black printing, but I've not seen anyone bring this up.

Great video! Knowing how long it took me to put together Pelican set, I am a bit scared to open the box for this one. The video defiantly helped to get motivated though.

I’d say the build is more involved than the Pelican but I think you’ll be more impressed with the final result. That’s saying something as the Pelican Inbound is a great build and set.

I really like more the elephant troop carrier its smaller but more detailed , plus the figures , carter ,jun ,medic .....

Do you have both?, I have the Troop carrier HW version and whilst it’s good it doesn’t hold a candle to this new one in regards to size and build experience. Just my opinion.

Watch the price, there are only 3rd party sellers on Amazon Uk at the moment and they are asking way more than the set retails for. Not much choice if you’re in the Uk but wanted to make sure you were aware.

@@brickman1175 can you ask mega/mattel to rerelease it on mattel creations since it sold out before you even posted your review. Or if thats not possible amazon ca? Also can you ask about the state of blind bags, heroes and drop pods? It's been 2~ years since we got any and it's getting very concerning since the US has clear priority and I just want to get the figures mega shows without having to pay resellers.

Do you know you can buy from Amazon US? You’ll have to pay shipping and import duty but it will estimate it all for you at the checkout before you buy. Sometimes it’s cheaper to pay the global shipping and tax than to buy through Amazon Uk. Worth having a look.
