this game needs a re-release. I spent so much time playing the game and enjoyed it.

i'm playing the campaign co-op with my friend for the first time who just got it, like obviously i got legendary on single and coop and like every achievement within the first few weeks but now however many years later doing a new playthrough, and can i just comment on how much better the halo reach matchmaking system is than any game literally ever, it is so quick and easy, it's not even a thought, it's just everything about that game is so user friendly and quick and easy, i was literally playing people on a server with only 5 people on it only 30 seconds wait time, and the connection was fine, which other game can you say that for, which other game can you promote a leader and leave and join anyone anywhere instantly, then change between any number of game modes without even thinking about disconnecting or waiting! halo reach just did everything amazingly (except maybe number of items in forge at one time but thats not really there fault)

Hard to pick a "favorite", they all (1-3 n reach) are masterpieces. But Reach, thru the story and music makes it resonate emotionally. The others have emotional moments, this was emotional in its entirety. God the memories.

But the Halo Reach game is played from the perspective of a completely different group of Spartans doing other missions in other locations at the same time as the Master Chief was doing his own missions.

All characters in Osiris and Blue team are cardboard cut outs with little proper emotion or depth, and the rest of the characters might as well be non-existant. And what about the Warden Eternal? This boss is recycled over and over and over. In the campaign we fight him like 8 times! And he's not even rewarding to defeat. It's just tedious. In my opinion Halo 5 has a campaign that is cheap, anticlimactic and poorly thought narrative who do not understand what Halo is or should be, heck, it was admitted that half of 343 personnel from 4 onward are people from COD and other games, purposely chosen because of their dislike of what Halo is. Rant over, my apologies. Needed to let that out .

Technically all Spartans are hyper lethal. Personally I think it's a really stupid line. Especially because they're referring to Master Chief and Noble 6 as only being hyper-lethal.

Elite v spartan assassinations shows this well with elites easily overpowering Spartans. Plus most don't have mjolnir armor making them even weaker than 2s that always have it. Noble team was an exception. Edit Forgot to mention but eliten on spartan assassinations is with said Spartans having mjolnir making them getting easily overpowered even more clear that 3s are much weaker than 2s.

Half-Dead halo reach was very very good but to most people we think halo 3 was just perfect. Multiplayer was flawless and the campaign was spectacular

Maarten Allegaert It was Bungie’s baby to begin with. Halo Reach is canon because Halo: New Blood and the Halo 4 books confirms it. So canonically speaking, Noble Six is up there too.

Science Things There is no discussion if Halo Reach is canon or not anymore because 343 actually cares about the halo story and fixed the damage Bungie had done to the story with this game. Both Halo Reach and The Fall of Reach are canon.
