If you use the in game time references then you can see Noble 6 only fought for a few hours. The hyper lethal title was retconned. It was just a throwaway line in one of the trailers. All Spartans are considered hyper lethal.

Even better, I'm a little rusty on my Reach lore, but that same Field Marshall (The elite class) from the first mission is the same Field Marshall you fight as you make your way up to the MAC in the Pillar of Autumn. He is also, I believe, the elite that killed Kat.

You probably don't know, but there's an app for Android (it has been taken down and you have to mod it for it to work) but the "Cortana virtual assistant" that was available for windows 10 mobile was ported to android, it was literally Cortana who was helping you very much like Alexa and Siri, she was even capable of impersonating Yoda, answer some questions about John and the normal voice assistant shenanigans.

Not these Spartans. Spartan-IIIs were trained by Ackerson, from the army, IIRC, not Halsey and ONI.

​@Nonamearisto they were still trained under ONI as a top secret program. S051 Kurt, a Spartan-II, actually trained all 3 companies. It was so top secret, Kurt's death was faked so the few people who knew he existed in the first place thought he died... So technically they already belonged to ONI. My guess is, they were reassigned to Reachs planetary defense army to assist in the defense of the planet and when they went back for Halsey, they were reassigned BACK to ONI. Seems to me like a small oversight in the writing probably due to the lack of lore surrounding the Spartan-IIIs at the time.

i guess for you younger generations , that was like your "optimus prime moment" ... ok bare with me i'ma genXer here. i was already an adult when halo 1 came out and 30 soemthign when reach came out. lol still ahuge halo fan. any way some explaination: in the 1986 cartoon movie for transformers they had optimus prime die. to say the least it tramatized many kids that saw it in the theatres. I was 7 years old when that movie came out and it was devestating at the time to think they actually killed optimus... but well that's life and i came out better for it later down the road helped deal with so much worse stuff in life later on.

Carter was aware of Noble 6's achievements. He and John were the only 2 people branded as hyper-lethal for a reason.

Noble 6 was not a newbie. Its stated his ONI file is a mile long and most of it is completely classified. In fact, 6 is considered to have a resume only second to Master Chief himself.

That was just an acknowledgment from Carter about Noble Six being a lone wolf. At that point, there were only 2 of them left, and Carter was going to die. So it was just Carter giving the Six permission to be a lone wolf.

I'm sure she didn't mean to forget about them, as Reach is a big game to take in after a first playthrough, but I do wish Meg had watched the Bungie credits and put them into the video. Funfact the covenant was traumatized from fighting Noble Six to the point they thought Chief Was Noble Six Reincarnated Or A Copy Of Noble Six And Noble Six is suppose to be an inferior Spartan compared to Master Chief

@@kaybevang536 he was a Spartan III but an absolute beast, the Spartan III were technically inferior to the Spartan IIs, plus he was Wearing Mjolnir Armour not the Spartan III armor

343 was founded in 2007 to take over Halo after Bungie completed their 5th game.

For me it did end with reach i played 4 but it was never nearly as good as any other halo game

@@dixon137 It's very interesting to see that after enough time has passed, Halo fans are able to relax a bit, take a more fair and objective look at Halo 4, and realize that the story and characters are not as bad as everyone made it out to be when it first launched. Is it the best Halo story wise, no. But it dives into some interesting stuff and goes deeper into characters that we never got before.

I’m predicting she won’t like 5. The campaign at least. Gameplay wise, not sure

@@lilfuzzballa I... recognize the deeper dive that Halo 4 took, however, I feel it was very poorly paced. I feel like they should have done things in a slower pace. The game starts off simple, we only see one hint of Cortana's rampancy while aboard the Dawn and no one draws attention to it. Then when we crash, it happens again and Cortana blames the crash and we continue on through the campaign with a regular Halo story. Blood, guts, fighting through waves to free the Infinity from the gravity well and then when the gravity. At the same time, we slowly develop that something is wrong with Cortana and then she bursts on the bridge like she does in the game. And that's when we have the tone shift. That's when Chief starts to open up more. That's when we turn into a deeper story between Chief and Cortana.

It's cool and nostalgic to see someone play halo for the first time. Halo 2 is my fave, but if I had to choose, I'd watch reach for the first time again; ok maybe the entire series lol

But why? I'm sure with Cheif and Noble 6 they could have easily defeated the covenant, even with some backup from the Marines

​@@thrilltokill5409 If it was that easy the war wouldn't have lasted 30 years. In the grand scheme theres not much 2 Spartans can do against billions of Covenant soldiers and hundreds of ships. What typically happens is Spartans do what they can to stall the Covenant so civilians can be evacuated then they get picked up before they are stranded and overwhelmed.

yeah, if Chief took Noble 6's place and did the exact same thing throughout the whole game, Emile would somehow survive long enough for Chief to get on the Pillar of Autumn.
