Every noble went out in their own way, emile went down hand to hand, Kat (the intel) got headshotted after their comms got intercepted, george (the only reach "native") died thinking he saved reach, Carter the leader went down with the ship, and 6 the lone wolf died alone. Jun the recon just left lol.

I think there is a terminal in halo 2 where they explain that elites were waiting for the marines to get their weapons because killing unarmed soldiers is not honorable. Kinda cool yet kinda scary

The Elites were truly honourable, some questioned letting humanity into the covenant because of how ferociusly an outmatched species continued to fight, but the Prophets knew the truth that humanity were the decendents of the forerunners, if humanity were let in, it would be discovered and a whole shltstorm would be unleashed.

5 stages of grief denial anger bargaining depression acceptance in the case of halo reach repeat this 5 times until you are just depressed I always like watching new people play through reach cus none of them can ever imagine that by the end all the main characters will die. they just slowly lose hope as the game continues. Noble six is probably my favorite character even tho he is only in one game. that final cutscene is one of my favorite of all time. No miracles this time, just a soldier fighting to the end.

Yeah it’s a humbling moment watching others experience halo for the first time, it’s like the equivalent of watching your kids understand the meaning of death in The Lion King but instead it’s watching people experience this series, halo’s more than just a game it’s a legacy

Every time I watched the scenes of Noble Team going MIA. I still lose it, the bond you have whether your team, or friends is just unstoppable even after death. There's so much you wish you could do and say. This game taught me back then and even today to never give up, fight for whatever it is you want, but to make sure that you bring those around you to that haven. You never know when someone close goes astray.

Everyone wished he somehow survived. But that's the thing. Noble Team, and all of the other spartans in their entirety, were a necessary sacrifice at Reach.

Jorge's death is by far one of the saddest. Right to the end he wanted to serve reach, thinking he had saved the planet he gave his life. Only for his death to mean literally nothing seconds later.

I feel like Cat’s death surprised everyone, Jorge tried going out saving the planet giving his honor to 6, Carter sacrificed himself for Emile and 6 to deliver the A.I which was a good choice, then Emile died unexpectedly out of nowhere, then 6 went out a hyper lethal vector

In a depressing twist, Emiles final words were far more impactful than most realise. His mother and father both died during an Insurrectist bombing and his older brother died to get Emile off their home world to safety during the Covenant attack on their home world. Also, Emile came from the same colony world the Master Chief came from, Eridanus, and no they aren't related

9:24 worst part is that up to this point, Capital ships were never destroyed by the UNSC. They’ve only been destroyed twice during the war, the first was Jorge, and the second was Master Chief in Halo 2

It's actually 750 capital ships. The Prophet of Regret attacked Earth with 15 capital ships and Lord Hood says the fleet that destroyed Reach was 50 times that size.

Cortana has only allowed 2 Spartans to carry her, both were designated "hyper lethal" by the covenant. Both were the "extra lucky" Spartans that had something she couldn't calculate about their behavior. Both John 117 and noble six had an uncalculatable amount of randomness in their personalities. They were both chosen because the "correct" choice was never the same as the "only choice ". Whatever choice saved the most lives, wasn't always right. The choice that saved the "right" lived what the better choice. And vice versa on many accounts
