"I won't hide you But be overtly happy" A bit more accurate translation would be "I won't hide it (referencing the happiness) but instead be openly happy" If I'm correct this is a reference to a classic Finnish poem and song "Laulu onnesta" or "Kell' onni on". The poem was written by one of Finland's most reknown poets, Eino Leino (1878-1926). The message is that a person who possesses happiness or treasures, should hide their happiness, stay quiet, not share it, and instead only rejoice in it alone -- "go into the woods and live quietly, quietly, and quietly be happy of their happiness". The reason for hiding is that "happiness does not endure/bear to be looked upon by others". My interpretation is that the author is saying that other people are jealous and would ruin it. Kinda pessimistic and depressing if you ask me (but thats the traditional Finnish mindset for you), I agree more with HH's view on it. I remember the song was performed at a wedding I went to when I was maybe 6 years, I remember thinking that it was a very odd song for a wedding.

Hi from Victoria BC, Canada. It is too bad that I had no idea about Haloo Helsinki before. They are now my favorite. So full of energy, every instrumental rhythm sounds so natural. On top of all, Elisa (or can I say Elli) is definitely the best woman vocals in pop and rock history.
