Haltwhistle Caravan & Camping Site - 2024.
Follow me on a tour of he site and a walk on the wild side around the site. The area is great for looking to get out and about. It is a little quiet so no children's parks or screaming kids, more adults. On the banks of the River Tyne South, this is a rural quiet site with the usual facilities - small shop, water points, electric hookup, toilet/showe blocks (very clean and warm), Bin facilitiy with Elsan point for the toilet cassette. Coin operated washing/drying facilities. Very well run site and well maintained - regular inspections of pitches by the local guys. The only negative is there isn't much here if you are not an outdoors person.
