There are several countries where these brave commercial drivers are taken seriously and given lots of respect. They are the backbone of logistic businesses and some countries have ensured that there are enough rest places with facilities like bathrooms and drinking water and tea/food stalls and chairs and benches along with ample parking spaces for them on the highways. Our highway authorities have no idea how engineering and planning can help such people but also generate enough revenues for respective state governments. Lots of work to be done still for progress. Individual interests have taken Bharatvarsh behind for centuries. Time to wake up

There are accommodation facilities for these drivers on every petrol pump. They can use washrooms, and parking space on any petrol pump for free.

@@warringtribes6689 Iast month I was traveling on Mumbai agra highway. Not even single petrol pump was having clean washrooms for female. It was shameful for me even after paying tolls , road tax through petrol still my family members can't find even single washroom .Eventually I had to go hotel for washroom.

One of most tough job on this planet is trucking .. they r far from home ..driving through lot places ..facing new challenges.. sometimes life is at risk .. thier family sleeping at home but they driving that time ... A lot and lot things they go through .. really brave people .. salute

These kind of dhabas have all facilities like toilets, place to take bath, food, safe parking. Agar government centre kholega Highway pe toh dhabas ka business bandh ho jayega. Main customers for dhabas are truck drivers.
