The story revolves around the lives of Kashaf Murtaza and Zaroon Junaid. Kashaf, a young woman raised by a single mother, faces a lot of class and gender bias while growing up. However, her life turns around when she meets Zaroon in college. The drama then shows the ups and downs and trials and tribulations faced in every marriage in the most beautiful way!

Antifeminist drama tha but bohot close to reality tha and kashaf is worth the time watching. Though the story is biased against modern women, Kashaf is a character that makes choices and lives by them due to her own reasons and stands up for herself in every possible way. What a character arc she has. Though it is her situation that force her to marry Zaroon, she finds him to be what she needed and missed in life and finds her happiness with him. The only conflicting reality is that men like zaroon who are misogynistic by nature act the same way with wife and daughters. They expect the wife to be subservient to them, not sure how long a self respecting woman would tolerate that in reality. -- Perhaps this would be the conundrum had there been a sequel to the drama.

Why TV series won't make such dramas where suppos kashaf is not topper, she has no career, she has no love in her life, she is heartbroken, she is not getting rishtas in her 30s, she is facing anxiety, depression because she is gareeb also she has no career, garibi mai aata gila kind off but one thing she has believe that one day she will make it ...she really wanna do something but now nothing working in her life... but yaa she is facing life by not quitting, she is trying and trying and trying and one day she did it Why people won't show journey when Nothing is working but she has a hope that one day she will shine ;) A journey from zero to hero !
