Hamburg Sightseeing with tour guide Gabi Kopper
Corona makes me a guide without guests. My name is Gabi, I am a Guide in Hamburg and since the Corona Virus I am the guide without guests. So I decided to bring you some inspiration by video about my beautiful city maybe for your future travels.
In this very first episode I start with one of the signature landmarks of the city - our Michel or St. Michaelis Church. As long as the bells of St. Michael’ s are ringing, everything is fine. The churchtower is welcoming ships, sailors and visitors for centuries now as they enter the port of Hamburg on the river Elbe. The Michel - our youngest of Hamburg's five main churches is situated in the district we call Neustadt or new town, even when it is one of the older parts of the city.
