Your videos are valuable. I have a question regarding the type of grass or veld that goats thrive at? I am in SA and want to farm with goats but I am not sure about my area, in terms the grass or veld we have

Mr hamisi what if I have one acre of land and plus 3m of can I start a goats farm or not
@baze10274 жыл бұрын
i can answer u. yo like me. i hv 4heckers...but my target is 500goats. with yo 1 hectare can do zero grazing. use part of the 3m to plant grasses, bulid a small goat house for d start, arrange for a water source, and a small farm house for security, constant supervision of d farm....even if u begin with 3 pure female pregnant savana goats of 75percent, its good to go. but first consider grasses. me too have started with planting chloris gayana, napier grass, maize and labalaba. these are good for both dry and rainny seasons, chloris gayana is permanent and can keep regrowing while chopping it for as long as 5yrs. with yo well planed 1 hectare full of feeds, u can manager over 100~130 goats. thank me later
