I think that beginning scene is so powerful with Alexander trying to take Eliza’s hand and Eliza pulling her hand away. I know it’s in the play, but I’ve never seen anyone animate it before. The anger and sadness you put into the animation was so realistic. I just love how you portrayed that scene. And I like how you drew the tears too. It seems like every animatic I watch is the same, except this one. People always animate the “that would be enough” reprise in a garden or on a walk, but you showed them in their own house. It was really creative, because I usually see people just copy other animators. You captured Eliza’s sadness and grieving perfectly. But the end scene is what really got me. When Eliza forgives Alex. This couple hasn’t talked for months. They’re son just died. Elizabeth finally forgives him. They aren’t just going to sit there and smile at each other, they’re going to hug each other and cry. The way you showed that was just.... I can’t even put it into words. This is absolutely the best animatic of this song I have seen ever. Have a great day! Sorry this is so long lol

I’ve seen hundreds of Hamilton animatics. I’ve never actually cried because of one of them. But for whatever the reason when Alexander fell to the ground after everyone said “forgiveness” I started crying and I don’t know why. Congrats on making me cry :’)

I broke down completely at 1:49 you have so elegantly captured the raw emotion that comes with losing someone you love, especially a child that you bore. I also love the depression displayed, in some animatics, Eliza is deadpanned (which is good too!) but here; her seemingly refusal to eat, laying in bed, and so much more are what take my breath away. And that’s only Eliza, the portrayal of Hamilton was equally beautiful. A father’s pain is just as much as a mother’s, but he also (in a way) was losing his wife. There are so many words I could type that praise this work but I will refrain. You are amazing! Keep up the good work!!

Finally!! My favorite It's Quiet Uptown animatic Mostly because of the "Forgiveness. Can you imagine?"-part. Most animatics would have them cheering up right away like their son didn't die in the previous song. Which isn't always bad, but kind of undermines the song. Yours is the only one that followed the stage version very well
