Hi everyone! A lot of people are saying that they are embarrassed that we didn't get everything right and that they could do better. We filmed this VERY early into our love of Hamilton. At this point I had only heard the entire cast recording a couple times. If we were to film this now, it would be super easy for us. Okay, I have to explain the "My dearest, Angelica, tomorrow and tomorrow..." part because it needs to be explained; Lin was referencing McBeth, a supposedly cursed play (you're not supposed to say McBeth in a theater, but it's okay since it's in the script, in most circles, a few would chide Lin for including that reference at all, but well, it's actually a really nice lyric in my opinion). If you look at the annotations on the official lyrics, there's a full explanation of the references to the characters. It's actually a really clever line and one of my personal favorites. No disrespect intended, of course, I only know so much about the superstition about McBeth because my mother was a stage manager at one point, it's sorta an obscure thing. BTW, I really enjoy your videos, you're awesome.
