8 жыл бұрынIf Lin-Manuel Miranda can rap about Alexander Hamilton, I can Irish dance to rap about Alexander Hamilton! Talk about fusion! I'm an aspiring filmmaker, Irish dancer, artist, and leatherworker! I absolutely love performing and dance every chance I get! I perform at festivals year round, including the Carolina Renaissance Festival. Of course, when I heard the Hamilton soundtrack, I couldn't help but try to move my feet as fast as Daveed Diggs' lips!

It's hard, it takes a lot of experience and time to learn, I'm in tap and Irish dance and to me Irish dance is harder but in my dances tap is faster so yeah it's really hard but in tap I've had to move my feet faster. I know I probably shouldn't compare the two but it's the only way I could think

as an irish dancer and hamilton fan this is like the best thing i've ever seen.... and it really inspires me to improve my hard shoe dancing so i can be this incredible someday!

i don't understand why the camera doesn't stay on her feet the whole time, since you can hear her doing footwork when the camera is only on her face . . . . her taps are impressively clean, though (if i'm using the wrong term i am going to feel like a real idiot).

If you don't show her face then she can't use it as self promotion and there are slow parts in the taps so you use the setting to keep people interested.

I think her performance is about much more than tap. It's whole body movement and dramatic expression. If she were performing on stage the audience would have a much wider view of her than just her feet.

I know nothing of dance but this is astonishing skill. Not that I know my arse from my elbow but you should contact the people who hold the rights to this play and then choreograph the entire piece. I appreciate that is a monumental undertaking and will require a lot of stoicism dealing with all sorts of issues, however, if the joie de vivre of this sequence can be extrapolated to a whole it would be something to behold. Many congratulations and more power to you.
