I saw this while purchasing another watch, and this watch is stunning. The all solid black just draws you in and the orange minutes and seconds hand tip just gives it enough color. Not to mention it's so light that you have to look at your wrist to know its there.

I hate that you can see a bit of silver color between the case and crown. Why isn’t the crown sitting flush against the case?

When Hamilton finally gets real AR coating it will be a game changer. Wont buy until that happens.

Cool it’s always interesting when your starting out collecting, which models to chose from and which models you still have in a few years. What are your other 2 watches?

Hi Barry, I'd rather have a black Tegemented Sinn, but this Hamilton looks and performs OK so I suppose it's a good buy. I do like the design language of Hamilton watches though... Have a good weekend LG Bob 🍻

Is that even a fair comparison? My sinn is 5x the cost to my titanium Hamilton.

@@jonberg469 I can see where you're coming from Jon, but there aren't so many black watches about. The Tegemented finish of black Sinn watches at least ensures that the finish should still be intact in ten years time. When I've had PVD coated watches I've found the lugs and case corners show the base colour where the finish has rubbed through after a while. That looks cool on a black Leica MP but I feel that on a watch it just looks tatty. I have to admit my bias though!

It's a nice watch but I wonder why Hamilton is so cheap with AR coating. The Khaki king have the same problem.

If this is titanium, why put a PVD coating on it? Titanium has a lovely texture on its own. I would have understood if this was a ceramic watch but it's an odd choice. I like the shape and the matt finish looks cool. Hamilton always has a great legibility, I like their font choice, the orange tip on the seconds hand is nice too.

I think they also do it without the PVD coating , I personally like the black but feel the dial is to busy for my taste

Titanium on a hamilton =ultra light weight. Does it feels like a swatch or a casio F91w . I have the normal SS version and really really light. Titanium is a good material but not necessarily useful in this watch IMO. The price also goes up. They did a pvc coating and no AR coating. I don’t know really what is going on. Hamilton needs to hear my gripe : they need to make 38 SS with screw down crown Automatic and a superluminova dials. This is the best KFA by far in the history. Not really hard to do. Swatch intentionally do it for buyers to get the higher tier options also made by swatch as what seiko is doing in their prospex lineup. Hamilton is not perfect but I love the 38 ones a lume and a screw down crown and an AR coating will be very hard to beat.

Bob must have a rich uncle because he wins every time. And I really like the matte black case and bracelet. But think Hamilton forgot to put in a gmt hand. While I think sinn 856 S is a better black watch this Hamilton at less than half the price, titanium weight and 80 hr reserve sounds like a great value.

I do think its his channel I'm just along for the ride 🤣 The place I'm working at has a loud of cool vintage watches for sale, mostly Omegas a few are less than 500 so I said I show them on the channel and see if people liked them

At that price, the more durable DLC should have been used over PVD. This watch will look horrible after after some wear and tear.

It's a bit of a thing. Hamilton is known for condensation issues when moving between hot and cold conditions. Many have thought it was related to a lack of o-ring placement near the stem. A lot of it is YMMV, but there's enough of a sample size to make me hesitate
