I love her rendition and Renee’s in equal measures, because they are both awesome portrayals of Angelica (one of my favourite characters).

@elly_hermione Жыл бұрын
@@leticiadiassis6407 well, his voice is not like the WORST, some of his performances are really good, especially the latest ones, and he knows what he can and what he can't, so when he's playing Usnavi or Hamilton, he has to rap a lot and his singing parts are not too hard for him, so he can make them quite good. As for the demos, I think it's okay that they don't sound really good, after all, he was never supposed to sing them. I wouldn't argue that his vocal abilities are not very high, but he's definitely not the worst singer!

I'm hard of hearing (hearing loss at high frequencies / pitches) and have auditory processing disorder. I can best describe APD with an audio mixing analogy. When mixing a song, you work with the vocals and the instruments separately, and then both of those are further broken down into subcategories (for example, vocals can include lead vocals and background vocals). My brain tends to mix all the separate sounds in one block of sound. So I technically "hear" it, but my brain doesn't interpret it the way a fully hearing person's does. I can tell the difference between good audio and bad audio, but not good audio and great audio. So I can't hear whatever is lacking in Lin Manuel-Miranda's vocals. I do notice the passion and uniqueness in his voice, though. I like this singer too. It sounds more like a trained musical performer voice to me, like what I hear from Broadway singers. I couldn't tell you what about his vocals or technique is better than Lin's, though. Except that maybe he uses more vibrato? Maybe he projects more, articulates more clearly?
