The EPS works to stop the brain from accelerating and bashing against the skull. And since when we crash in real world, we'll probably have 1-4 hits from the inside when the skull presses against the Comfort liner and ultimately EPS liner. The outer shell prevents from wounds and rashes and the round/smooth shape of helmet makes it easier to slide on the tarmac and glance off of obstacles. The first hit that you did is the only test we may need as we want the helmet to protect us in a crash and it's life is over post that. Overall a very informative video for those guys who are still getting into riding
