For the illegal 'clean up' salvage missions, you can use the Argo SRV to tow the target ship e.g. Hammerhead (250k reward), a short distance outside of the mission objective area. To avoid getting a CS (CrimeStat), EVA into the Hammerhead, enter the pilot seat then exit the Hammerhead, and two away with the SRV.
Currently there is an issue council ticket with some of the com arrays preventing you from disabling them, so the above is an alternative way. CIG may change this behaviour in the future.
