We like our Hammerheads. They are bunch of fun. The mudhead 208R belts do wear so it is a good idea to buy some spare to have ready for when they start to break apart. (Replacement belts are inexpensive.) Good thing is replacing the belt is pretty simple and quick. The GTS stock carburetor isn't that great. The float is the main issue. It is worth upgrading to a better carburetor with larger jet with adjustment screws or even upgrade to a EFI (a little more work than swapping carburetors). Getting rid of the stock air filter box for a better performing air filter makes a huge difference, especially going up hills. Simple upgrades to the engine and the GTS-150s really start to move. They are very comfortable to ride in too. The carrying rack on the back is even useful. You can throw a battery powered trimmer in there (or even a small chain saw) and then ride the trails and use it to trim up branches that have fallen on the trails after storms. Great fun for a good price.

Don’t buy a hammerhead go kart! I have had my brand new gts plaitnum 2019 for one year as of last week and the floor has already rusted all the way through. Luckily my dad and I are very handy so we are going to swap the floor for aluminum diamond plate and probably swap a motorcycle engine into it. You are better off buying a used buggy for much less money than buying a hammerhead brand new.

You have to service it every 20 hrs , are you kidding me wow you guys must run your business on servicing lol , i have a chinese dazon 250 buggy and im having a hell of a time finding a duel chain for it so if your looking to buy one keep in mind they discontinue these buggies as fast as they sell them and parts are hard to find . You buy crap you you get crap service just remember that people ,,,,, oh and by the way make sure they did an oil change because these crap buggies come with a low end shipping oil not made to run in the motor and # 1 mistake people make is driving it with that shit oil and blow up the motor in the first year and dealer love when you dont know because now you got to get it fixed by them because you cant get parts for it ......listen dont get me wrong they are fun to ride but not worth the price tag . Look for a used one and swap out the motor and you will be better off ........

The brakes are terrible. Faulty design.
