In March 2023 Ocean enthusiasts were thrilled when a hundreds of critically endangered sharks made an appearance at Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast.
We took to the waters at sunrise with our GoPro to witness this rare underwater event with hundreds of juvenile scalloped hammerhead.

Umm,...you do realise that some shark species pup 3 to 7, scalloped hammerheads pup 12 to 40, ...why?, because juvenile mortality is very high with this species. Marine Biologists will tell you this also, so while some might drown in nets, many more survive.......and that is why there are so many for you to appreciate!!, neat huh!?
