6 years ago, this made me dream. Then I became stone hard. Loss of friends, careers never achieved, and feelings misplaced. And I forgot this song's title and band till now. Thank goodness. I want to switch it all around again. To dream with eyes open once more. This is what that song means to me. Thank you hammock. Thank you.

I'm with you. I like this thread. 4 years ago it seems I started losing everything; my wife of 18 years, my dog, my self esteem, my youth ( going), finally even the will to live. .It seemed like for those four years nothing at all good happened in my life, only losses and regrets. Now I have a new puppy, getting into shape riding my mtn bike again, maybe I can turn things around. For me I realize my happiness does not depend on ( "the right") someone else. If I can only remember that. This video says to me, we create our own happiness.

My wife is in labor right now. I am in the hospital waiting room. A lot of emotions and feelings right now. This song brings peace, hope and love to my soul. I hope my baby boy becomes a strong and innocet kid , with a soul full of love, as the boy of this video. There is still hope in the middle of this empty and selfish society. I got my girlfriend into this song the other day. We laid there for ours, keeping warm in her thin blankets, as we listened to this band, this song made her say,'this. This should be our song.' And said yes of course. We had been looking for a song for us.. She then told me after 4 minutes into this song, 'i love you' with tears in her cute eyes. She then reached for my hand and held it tight,' i love you too so much'. I kissed her forehead, and we fell asleep to this lovely music

There are frustration, depression, hatred and fear in life. Whenever I feel these negative emotions, I come here to watch this peaceful video, watch the innocent boy having fun with his simple joy and his pure love to the little animal. Then I feel...love. A love bigger than a relationship, more like a connection to the world I am living in. I feel...alive, like a human being, again. This is what music does to me, and what Hammock music does to me.

In an ancient Japanese legend, it's been said that when someone makes 1000 paper cranes in a year, they can make a wish at the end that will be granted. I wonder what this little boy wished for. I wonder what his story is.

***** Maybe! However it seems as if this little boy doesn't have a home or if he does, it might not be much of one. It almost seems as if the cranes are a means of escape for him from whatever he's going through. Maybe he's wishing for something deeper than what appears on the surface.

That magical moment when camera left the house and flew away outside through the window I just stopped breathing at all that hearth-warming view in a yard. Only outstanding Hammock tune reanimated me. That Boy doesn't have much, yet he gives so much to the world...Pure kindness! There are so much things on my mind I want to share about this clip but I'm afraid there aren't enough words to explain how i feel...Hammock4Life!

I have always wondered, how sounds sorted together like they are in this song, evoke so much emotion. I know many people are not religious these days, but I always feel music as one of the ways humans are connected to another world/power/life. Nothing in our existence or our experience as humans, besides of course love, has as much power and brilliance in its simplicity as music. Just my thoughts. Thanks!

Adam Nelson Humans are connected to everything. We are all made of the same stuff. Just transformed into different things. But some connections are real connections while some are merely physical and serve no real benefit. We are connected to eachother, animals and even plants. (Trust me it makes sense)

I found this clip 11 years ago. I remember how I felt about this video and how I tried to watch it on slow internet. I am 19 and i am kinda dreamer, sometimes i sit alone in the dark room, listening to music like this and reading beautifull thoughts people wrote under these videos, everyone are so open-hearted if there is a word like this, i feel so connected with u all, it's like a meditation. If you are lucky to get really deep in this music and your mind u can discover feelings almoust as thrilling as they were in your childhood, with the years it becomes harded and harder to do it, so appreciate this music

There are no words to explain this marriage of sight and sound. It poignantly captures the wonder of being a child; a time we all wish we could recapture. In those brief moments when we are transported again, the sadness of what is lost overwhelms us. This is a masterpiece Hammock - pure and simple ! This should be on permanent display in the Louvre.
