This is one of my most favourite places to visit in Hereford. We have taken a tour of the castle but never been upstairs. It looks stunning! The gardens are beautiful and peaceful, and the riverside walk is perfect too especially when you get to see otters swimming in the River Lugg. I love the music you have set this video too, it really is lovely. Thank you for sharing.

Been here a few times. Worth the visit. There's alot more to see hidden within the castle, a maze, garden, shop, small waterfalls, and a restaurant with fresh daily local cuisine. From 1 to 10, I'd give it a 20. :-)

I came across these Hampton Court Castle pictures when researching for a visit to Hampton Court. Man they are beautiful! and so well presented. Almost makes me wish I was planning my visit here instead. Thanks for posting.

They shot many scenes here for the BBC series Survivors in 1975.

My ancestors (the Coningsby's) owned and lived here for generations until my cousin the 5th Earl of Essex George Capel-Coningsby sold it to the Arkwright family due to gambling debts. Sir Rowland Lenthall built the estate on the grounds that had been given to him in his marriage to Margaret Fitzalan (another ancestor) and then later on the property was bought by my 2st Great Grandfather Sir Humphery Coningsby and remained in the family until it was sold.

No, this is Hampton Court Castle not Hampton Court Palace which was where Henry lived... :)
