Hampton University Dorm Tours: VC vs Twitchell??

Hey guys! I know March is right around the corner so those who applied to Hampton University early are getting the chance to pick their dorms for the upcoming school year really soon. I hope this video helped you see the pros and cons of both dorms, VC and Twitchell, even though there is technically 3. Very helpful. My daughter is actually in your video Sydney J. We watch these videos together to see how things are. I missed the tour this weekend because the parents were in another financial aid meeting. She was able to see the dorms and watched your video thereafter. We are back in Chicago now. Loved Hampton. +Kimberly Holt I used to watch Hampton videos with my mom last year too. I love doing them just to help people out so they can at least have a general idea of what they are getting themselves into. I also live in Illinois as well! About 45 min outside of Chicago

Hampton U have to many beautiful women I would just have friends but I would never forget that my education come first love the dorm rooms remind me of the dorms at Virginia State University I miss being in college so much but life goes on after college

Yeah you'll be guaranteed to have a decent sized room in Twitchell. In VC you could either be blessed with the bigger sized room or end up with the smaller one and it wouldn't be your choice

this might be a dumb or weird question but for the kitchenette do you bring your own like pans and stuff or they supply that? & are there really curfews for the first year(freshmen) ?

Lol no you don't need to bring pans, the kitchens in the dorms have them. And yeah they have curfew for the first few months

I am looking for information on Kennedy hall honor dorm What is it like and where can I find pictures of the inside of the single and double rooms , how many people share a bathroom and how clean are the bathrooms please please share

Quick question because I just moved to Virginia: Can I get into Hampton with a 3.3 GPA and 950 SAT score or do I need to work harder? And apply extra early or normal decision?

I'm not really sure about the SAT scores, I took the ACT so i really know nothing about it lol but definitely with your gpa yes. I think you need a 2.5

No ma'am, you don't have to but you certainly have the option.to if that's where you want to live

+Sajdah Abdul-karim Yes you can stay in the regular VC, but you have to be on the merit scholarship to live in VC Suites

+Jamilah Muhammad College is so much better than high school. And yes you get freedom depending on the school you go to. At Hampton, the first 4 months freshman had curfew, and some of our dorms still don't have visitation so it all depends on where you go

I say the earlier the better so you can get your decision back and have time to really think about it. I think the best time is around September and October and be finished by November.
