This stuff, these battles between schools at games, it used to mean so much to me during my days at NCCU lol. Watching it now, it's kind of cringe in my "older" age lol. But it's not to diminish it at all, by any measure! If there are any HBCU students reading this right now, make sure you enjoy every minute of it!! Soak in all these moments at games, the fun times in the cafe, hanging out at the union, pre-dawn parties, even 8a classes, soak it all up. Because you will spend the rest of your life having fleeting nostalgic yearnings of wishing you could do it all it again, just one more time.

Wow, as an outsider and interested in culture, I'm amazed to see this dance's sincretism as an african dance mixed with european brass music. Amazing result and fabulous performance from both teams. Must recognize and notice this cultural richness.

Hampton had energy, precision and pressure. Plus their moves were clean. Howard was clean and sharp with motion they did good as well. Both teams brought that fire 🔥

Hampton barely had precision , look like everybody did one or a few of those dance moves totally different . Howard was more uniformed tho to me everybody looked like they was doing the same exact moves . I like the captain on Hampton tho she killed it . But it’s something about Howard and all the shakin that gets me lol plus they outfit was a little cuter to me (howard) I like how the skirts moved when they was shaking it lol
