I am super surprised to know that Americans do not let their children to watch anything sexual on TV, because I think most of the Hollywood movie has sex scenes and at least 60% of nudity in them. Please tell me if I am wrong

Great reaction, but I must say that most Americans have no idea about India, there are about 7 major film industries based on 7 languages and 22 other regional film industries based on 22 official languages, there are about more than 1000 languages in India out of which more than 100 are existing and 22 are official spoken languages and has many dilects, etc. Baahubali is not a Bollywood film because most of the Bollywood films are in Hindi language, so Baahubali is actually a Tollywood (nicknamed) production which is the Telugu language film industry and there are other languges with diverse film industries each with their own cultural diversity, way of dressing, lifestyle, literature and art forms, etc.....the films from India are also diverse yet many Americans think that any film that comes out of India is Bollywood which is wrong, the other major film industries which make equally good content with diverse stories are from languages like Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, and Punjabi which are from 6 states of India, and there are other official language regional films also...you are just starting to explore the tip of the iceberg with Baahubali there is a 100 years history of cinema in India and every year there are more than 1000 films coming out of India out of which Bollywood only makes about 200 or so and the rest are from other film industries which are so diverse that it is hard to keep up.....each regional languge film industries are coming up with different kind of high quality films every year so there are so many production houses in India that you cannot count, you have to explore each of the regional language films separately to get a clear picture of what Indian cinema is all about....

"Hamsa" means Swan. It is a symbol of purity because it separates milk and water. Their love is also pure as white. This is an imaginary song. Male teases the girl. Girl does something to create problems to the male. He make the situation even beautiful for her. She impressed with his effort. It makes her love him more. She moves closes to him.

Understand it like this. Most of dance/song sequences of Indian movies are fantasy. Also it is a mash of genres. Its never going to be like full on one single genre. And this song sequence is more of a fantasy sequence than real. Also, CC wouldnt help you guys coz the beauty of it will be lost in translation. The only way for you to understand the true meaning is to learn the language and trust me, most of the times the meaning is lost when you translate from one Indian language to another. BCZ a tune is built in correlation with the lyric when it was originally built. To your second question, the two sides of coin are dealt in a very different way than it is in America. You spoke about Bhagawatgeeta in your previous video. It deals with violence. Most of Indian epics deals with reality of life that many people(around world) ignore. So if you are dealing with a subject as massive and as epic as this one, we subconsciously accept that there is going to violence. Another concept that I would like to address here as situation came. Death is dealt in a completely different way in India. We generally dont fear death as much as Americans do, coz most Indians dont believe that death is the end chapter and closing conundrum of your ideology. So violence is an accepted thing here.

If they think India is all about "slumdog millionaire" or like that its their ignorance .....we don't care, we are what we are and proud to be..... Indian films don't promote nudity and sex cause most of the times content is what we expect..... Now days when films lack content or story, producers promote some intimate scenes but such films are mostly ignored.... (But they watch in sex-crets like Soft porn movies or porn) And yes kids are kept away from such things until they come of age (and till they come their body itself teaches them😜😉) And as of this movie, there's no nudity or sex in both the movies... You people are nice but quite ignorant about Indian films. Indians generally love song and dance. Most of the Indian films are musicals in your definition as it carries 3/4 songs in it. However, Indian films are all-in-one in the sense that it shows romance, revenge, action, violence, melodrama, social issues, international issues, espionage, terrorism and finally, triumph of good over bad in the same package. The songs are recorded in such a way that those can be enjoyed as separate musical videos available in CDs and DVDs. Musical videos other than those embedded in the movies are very rare in India. India produces largest number of films in the whole world and its a billion dollar business. That's why Sony, Disney and Fox have bee lined to produce films in India. Now coming to the point of debarring children from watching violence, Indian film censor board marks 'A' for the movies which contain sex and violence and children are not permitted to watch those movies . However, those restrictions are not strictly followed in the rural areas. In your case, although children are not allowed to watch violence, they often experience it live in the shape of shootings in schools in the US which have become a perennial affair there. We have to live with it. Well, keep watching Indian movies and its music videos and try to feel the psyche of the Indians. Lastly, please tune the volume of the musical videos a bit louder so that we can also enjoy it in our laptops otherwise, it becomes a dry and drab show.

Instead of asking Indians lots of questions all the while taking a moral high ground , please watch some Indian films with Eng subtitles in the first place. It will help u understand the genres better . And do drop the condescending tone.

Actually, Any type of physical intimate scene between actors is quite new thing as the Bollywood is being westernized. In the 90's there were plots around it but sex scenes were not showed for 99% of part. A bit of dancing and teasing would show the upcoming action. love stories are not revolves around intimate relations until the movie is entirely focused upon sex. Like Dirty picture(movie name)or some others. which are not love stories. Movies like Tum Binn 2 are deep examples of love without sex. In Ashiqui 2 sex comes a lot after the love part. So, no sex is not the main element of a relationship in indian movies unless otherwise stated.
