Since I’m on a budget for my hamster I hopped on Facebook market place found a 75 gallon tank for 50$ I’m getting it tomorrow Edit: that didn’t work out sadly,so I went went yesterday and got his food a 55 gallon tank bedding food, and the hamster his name is Oliver/Ollie he’s super sweet and chunky love him

i checked your channel, i see you have a gecko on your banner, do you keep reptiles? i have a snake, but since theres not a lot of snake products i tend to buy a few rodent and fish products. it would be nice if you could suggest some more rodent hides with softer edges and made of something other than wood or something suitable for snakes. id totally watch reptile videos if you release them

I’m glad to hear that! I’m always unsure if people would enjoy reptile videos but it’s definitely something I would make. At the minute I currently own one crested gecko (Rango) but I used to watch so much reptile care videos for snakes and other geckos too. I’ll definitely try make a video soon! :)

I've recently started looking into hamsters as pets. What is the reason for having the pull out drawer at the bottom of the first cage?

Most cages designed like this are marketed for "ease of cleaning" with the idea of having a small layer of bedding at the bottom. but realistically you'd never actually need to use the drawer bc hamsters need 20cm of bedding and that would make a mess 😂 so most people just screw the drawer into place so the hamster can't get out :)

@@MartinGarry I see haha. Yeah the thick layer of bedding was one of the first things I picked up on when I started to watch hamster videos here and I feel so sorry for all the hamsters I've seen in the past with minimal bedding, if any💔 thanks for the reply

@@LouiseHultcrantz I agree 100%. Hamsters love burrowing and having deep bedding. It's sad that most pet shops sell cages that makes it impossible to provide them with the proper amount :( and np! if you ever have any questions I'd be happy to try answer them 🐹
