Ironically the series did better on Toonami thanks to how the standard Cartoon Network treated the series after it left Toonami. The standard Cartoon Network kept trying all of these different timeslots like 6AM and mid-afternoon but really 4PM during Toonami was when it was getting the most viewers.

Toonami Super Saturday, Toonami Rising Sun did often cross into the anfternoon hours and the Kids WB Toonami. But I was talking about when Hamtaro left Toonami it was put at weird times like 6AM, 1:30PM, 3:30PM, and other such timeslots. But ultimately 4PM during Toonami was its best slot.

From 1997 to 1999 or so it aired from 4 to 6 pm, then afterward it gained an hour so it aired from 4 to 7 pm, but later on in 2002 or so it lost an hour, so it aired from 5 to 7 pm. Then in 2004, it was moved from weekday afternoons from 5-7 pm to Saturday nights from 7-11 pm, and Saturdays would be where the original Toonami would stay until the end of its original run by way of cancellation by Cartoon Network in 2008.
