how ironic that there's no sqaush courts or facility at rhe venue run by pioneer of the game

Exactly and I thought that I made a mistake of hearing. Ironic and pathetic.

@2:13 The sigh of the great Jehangir Khan, totally portrays how hurt he really is, and the level of patriotism he has
@khurrambashir72229 ай бұрын
Not too sure about his level of patriotism. A man of his caliber and track record could have done anything to promote the game of squash in Pakistan but he chose not to. Even this legends arena that he is promoting doesn’t have a single squash court. Tells you a lot about how devoted he is to the game.

@@khurrambashir7222 Do you know this guy is the Chief of PSA? The Professional Squash Association? He's been trying to get Squash accepted as an Olympic sport since the past 25 years or so. Just so that Pakistan would have a gold medal opportunity. Besides, he didn't leave Pakistan like his own relative, Hashim Khan, who was teaching Squash in the US. Please meet him, and then you will realise how down to earth he is, considering as you said, 'a player of his stature,'

@@muhammadsiraj5537 exactly my point. Even though he has been the president of PSA, Pakistan’s ranking in squash has deteriorated to new lows. Do you think if squash gets accepted as a sport in the Olympics, Pakistan will get a medal? Pakistan won’t even qualify let alone winning a medal. Why has he not done anything to improve squash in Pakistan? That’s my question. Why I’m his legends arena there isn’t a single squash court? Pls answer the above 2 questions for me.

@@khurrambashir7222 Bro, just because he was a great player, doesn't mean he'll become a great coach... Maradonna a great football player, wasn't able to coach at club or country successfully... Mourinho, a below average player, turned out to be a great football coach ... Jansher tried his hand at coaching, where are the results?? He wasn't too bad a player either?? 6 British Opens, 10 World Titles... Above everything, I doubt Pakistani's are that disciplined, plus wherever you go, people are just simply begging for facilities... In my honest opinion, there's got to be a public-private partnership to create a structure, plus, Interest needs to be generated in the public so that genuine talent gets highlighted, and then nurtured, to be groomed for world championships. Thinking that Jehangir should take up coaching, or create squash courts, without any return or recompense is living in a fool's paradise

@@muhammadsiraj5537 sir we are not talking about him becoming a great coach. I am saying why didn’t he do anything to promote squash in the country? Could have been anything like making facilities for upcoming squash players etc.
